DooM is still avile ya' know.there are now source ports for DooM that allow doom to do things that could never be done before with DooM, such as floors above floors, new monsters, and OpenGL lighting.

GZDooM is an example of a Good source port. then there's Skulltag for multiplayer purposes. and if you really want the vanilla experience, then there's PRBooM and Chocolate DooM. there alot of sourceports for DooM. It just depends on finding the one that works for you.

the real music on the menu isn't 8-bit can you upload the real one? i bought the doom collector's set or whatever a few years ago, but it doesn't feature the original main menu.

@timninerell If you want to see the menu, just launch the game from Doom95 as you usually would. Once you're in the game, go to the menu, and select "End Game". Menu.

I remember playing this game when I was 3

I could never get past lvl 5... ON EASY!!!!

But now I can beat it on nightmare

just up to level 5, right? there's no way you can beat the whole game on nightmare. i've been playing it since '96 and i can't do that. i like playing on ultra-violence but with god mode. it's still fun to find all the keys and everything. back in the day i used to use god mode, clip mode, and full ammo/keys, but where is the fun in that?
