  • You can use Ubuntu Tweak to do this as well. It lists all the unused kernels, so you won't accidentally delete your current kernel.

  • is there a difference between linux-image-2 and linux-headers in the synaptic package manager ?? im not game to try it yet because i dont want to kill the wrong kernal .

  • I did that, but i thought i had the 2.6.31.20 version so deleted the 2.6.31.19, and now i can´t login to Ubuntu, i´m in Windows right now, but i´m downloading the 64bit version.

    If i install a new version, all the kernels will be deleted?

    I really hope so.

  • when I go to unistalled programs in windows, I have ubuntu there, but I have 2...one is 8.04 and one is 9.04...if I remove 8.04 will 9.04 still be there and work?

  • What recording device did you use?

    I have XVidCap, but I call it XVidCrap, since it automatically closes after pressing the record button.
