but since I did that..now that reseller hides the RPGS, RARES, and valuables behind the counter in a cupboard.

I caught him with a stack of PS1 games...I managed to buy his Silent Hill off him for 5 bucks.

But yeah, that pawn sucks. I don't really go there anyways, since he has first access and is now doing a better job of hiding the good stuff.

...............So I paid 20 bucks for that sweet stack. Just as I got my recepit for the games, the reseller comes from the back and gets all pissed. "You sold my games! I was going pay for those on payday!"

It felt so good to steal deals away from resellers!! I know the feeling.

Yeah, I did the same thing at a local pawn shop where one pawn broker just so happens to be a reseller. He cherry picks all the rares and rpgs, leaving behind sports titles and guitar hero games basically the scraps. Once, I caught him off guard and bought the stack he was holding for himself. He had rare PS2 games like: Tales of Abyss, Shadow Hearts Covenent, Xenosaga Episode 3, Odine Sphere, etc etc, there were other rpgs too,..................

@MikeGartner I had the camera in a bag in my pocket when I heard him talking, and didn't have time to get it out. Then I had just tossed it into the passenger seat of my car when he approached me in the parking lot, and I didn't want to turn my back again on a guy that had just sneaked up behind me. I wish I had thought to offer the doubles to him, that would have really pissed him off. I have to look into some type of spy camera like your glasses for this spring, or a camera man.

@sethious1 Thanks, it was fun for me too. I almost had an experience this good yesterday, and I'll have it on my pickup video on Friday. I was in a resale shop and overheard a customer say he was going to go get his "huge" N64 collection to sell to the shop owner, so I followed him out to his car to offer to buy them instead, and when I turned back around the angry shop owner had followed us out. He was too much of a wuss to say anything though.

As a buyer anything goes, there is nothing ethically wrong with what you did. Now the vendor's ethics could be questioned if the other buyer said he would buy it and they made an agreement and he had to get cash from the atm or something first. Anyway props for nailing a reseller. I don't like them because they are trying to artificially raise the prices of games by hoarding them then selling overpriced, especially the ebay resellers like Pedro and PlayEva and etc..

@HCGprick I don't hate resellers, but this one in particular trolls the flea market before it opens, and then marks whatever he finds up well above retail. The guy I bought them out from under works with this reseller, and was buying stuff up while the boss set up shop.

At the same place I found an original translucent gameboy with 4 pokemon games for $5. Its worth looking at these places.
