@jonah232 Big Scope: Their team buys at least 5 copies of one game, thats money to game developers and production companies to continue pumping out entertainment for us all, and in turn have a check to take home so they can buy products thereby creating other jobs for other people. Same with the people who manufacture the computers they use. Its indirect but e-sports is contributing to an economy just as anything else in entertainment does.
@jonah232 They are contributing to the economy, the money the e-sports goes to tournaments and companies that will to the employees of the e-sport. The employees are normal everyday people like us. So basically the e-sport is basically making jobs for everyone like TV shows and sports.
