People are always trying to come up on one another. The black community has always been used as a vehicle to push every agenda. Our community harbors all of America's filth. Then we rationalize it from personal experience. Black people have so much to learn about life. This is a intellectual gutter conversation that has no validity or normal value at all. Maybe they will get a talk show the will talk show. America's fallin' fast!!!!
yeah they were laughing...but a number of people were cringing too. frankly, I'd never had an experience like that in a comedy club where so many people were laughing while visually showing disgust at the same time. I mean he was graphic. and to me not really funny...but i stayed in great part b/c i had spent my money. and i kept thinking he was so funny on 30 Rock and his own short-run sitcom. the funny was gruesomely gross.
a couple years ago i saw tracy morgan at caroline's on broadway. it was gross. he is truly crude and not just toward the gay community. when he has the ability to talk about subjects in any way (cursing, not subject is taboo) he is truly offensive. unfortunately, i saw the show with my father. we were both embarrased.
@bornearth Were people laughing at his show? Never found him to be funny. Honestly, I wonder if he has a bit of Mental retardation. At any rate, on 30 Rock, his character is just a black Kramer and we all know what went down with Kramer! -Ann
I didn't hear the rant and I didn't read any news about it. But from what you both are saying it seems like he was giving more of an opinion than a joke. The whole point of a joke is for it to be funny. It wasn't funny.
@joy2ulove I'm not sure, but if so... which public group was he suppose to be speaking for? I'm not sure I know any one group of people that would stab their own child to death if s/he was gay. At any rate, it was suppose to be a comedy and I just don't find any of it funny. Perhaps that's because I never found Tracey to be funny in the first place. - Ann
Gays act like theyre tryin to make theyre sex preference a civil thing. Like a race. Gay is not an ethnicity. Its a choice

I'm gay and I can take a joke. I love watching Chris Rock and many others, but I found Tracy Morgan's rant to be offensive and hateful.
