  • I hope you get gonorrhea until you found the error of what you said, and until you find make a video response apologizing

  • I enjoyed watching this video, you made alot of good points.

    Thanks.

  • payso real talk

  • Man, I RESPECT your opinion, and I ADMIRE you for being so honest. There is HOPE when any of us, black or white or brown, can stop the stupid political correctness and stop looking for reasons to be offended and pay attention to the way we are each representing ourselves. 5 stars man. Thank you!!!

  • So real..I couldn't agree more for the simple fact that black people do it too..and I'm a black woman just speaking the truth..why is it okay for black people to say whatever the hell they want about white people but not the other way around...if you ask me thats racism right there...lets be real if it was a black comedian poking fun at some white female basketball players no one would have said shit...come on people we could dish it but we can't take it??

  • Im black,we need to focus on why we call our women nappy headed hoes, not why they call our women nappy headed hoes. They call them that because we do(think about it)

  • comedy or not, imus spoke what was on his mind. It reflects what goes through his head when he see's black women that r not westernized enough for his taste. we been through too much to overlook anything.

  • Pays- One of the best video responses I've seen. Good work.

  • VANSON DA TRUTH!!

  • Things I agree on: 1) More important issues in the Black community; 2) Imus being a figure Black folk hardly watch.

Things I disagree on: 1) The comments werent racist (sorry, bro, they were); 2) The "Butch" comment.

  • have you ever defended black women as much as you have don imus house nigga?

  • Here we have another person who has a listening problem and obviously cant understand things clearly....if you clearly listened to everything I said you wouldnt be responding with that nonsense

  • whites do a good job convincing people that they are not racist. imus's comments just shows how he feels about black women with kinky hair. Blacks do a good job of defending whites and not a good enough job defending our women. iF you took the time to defend black women rather than white men we would be better as a people. true many things are more important than this but we will deal with them at another time. we ahvent defended our women for over fourhundred years. house boy!

  • Don't let them get you down! You are right on target! You are saying things that they don't want to hear. You are not the problem! Any time you see someone attacking you personally with insults it is because the truth that you are speaking cannot be attacked with reason.

  • Amen

  • You sound like you are not educated. You are a black fool for making stupid comments about why you disagree with the decision to fire Imus when white people are laughing at you and would never hire you at any corporation because you are a nappy head hoe.

  • I didnt say anything about why he shouldnt have been fired. Matter of fact I couldnt of said anything about him getting fired because I made this video before he got fired....and then you say Im not educated...learn how to listen clearly before you make sill responses

  • for the last fourhundred years no one has ever defends black women. defend black women like you have defended this old cracker, house boy!

  • When did I say you weren't educated?

  • wasnt talking about you

  • a very well thought out and wise response - i admire

your evaluation of the whole deal -

  • I think many people belive this way also, everyone just needs to speak out about it, video is great, the man lost his job over it, come on, people here things everyday joking around just like this or worse, come on this is just crazy

  • very well put. whats your view on michael richards?

  • i think we're all gonna miss out on an opportunity to reconcile this whole thing.i believe imus aftera 2wk suspension could've done a whole lot for the advancement of race relations. thanks to assclowns like sharpton and jackson, so called revs who are above anything else, supposed to be preaching a message of love and forgiveness, have traded that in for a msg of self righteousness, unforgiveness and hypocracy. it's horshit soup for another 30yrs i guess.

  • i definately agree!!!!!!!

  • Well done! Very well done! So why is it that we can't hear this kind of solid reasoning from the media and from leaders of the black community?

  • A well-reasoned and thought-out argument. Thank you for putting your words with your image, that takes a lot of courage. While I don't respect someone who uses "shock terminology" for the sake of a cheap laugh or a gasp, I do appreciate someone who can take such comments in stride. Good on you, sir.

  • For the black community to have such an uprising over something as silly as this where there are so many more important issues to focus attention on is just sad.

If you truly are "proud to be black" and proud of your heritage and who you are....then you shouldn't give two shits about what some old guy said on a radio show.

  • I agree in that I think this whole uproar over what Imus said is friggin' ridiculous. My god people, gimme a break!.....

  • Good video agree 100% i don't get how the guy lost every just on that

  • I believe what you said. There are a lot more things to be concerned with. I didn't see anyone die over his comments. The world didn't end. Millions of people say racial comments everyday and most of them don't mean it for the whole race, just because of particular person from another race does something to piss them off.

  • Dumb ass black bastard!! Sit down Uncle Tom!!

  • How intelligient is this response...smh...and FYI I was sitting down already...lol

  • Black people are wasting their time on the Imus thing. No wonder the "black community" isn't making any progress

  • That's real talk

  • It would be cool if everyone would take it like this. Where's people's sense of humour?

  • I agree with you 100%. It's nice to see that someone isn't influenced by the media and can look at this situation logically.

  • Side note: he also called other black stars cruel names too, e.g. he called Destiny's Child ghetto b*cthes. Chew on that, before you guys start defending him.

  • Im not defending him at all...if you listened to what I was saying you can clearly hear my point of view

  • AND lastly why are black people sticking up for this old white man. Trust me if the roles where reversed neither he nor white people would do it for you. Trust if any person of color including a comedian called a white woman on a basketball team a hoe or anything derogatory that person would have been fired last week. Just like Tim Hardaway lose his job for say "I hate gay people, Imus lose his. Imus is a racist and he deserved everything he got.

  • When the girls were on Oprah, one of them even mentions that "unless Hoe has a new definition I don't see how it relates to me. She didn't even mention the nappy part. So people need to re-evaluate the situation. Because some of you are missing the point.

  • It's funny how every one only mentions the nappy headed part. But what about the hoe part.

To everyone: he did not get fired for say nappy headed, he got fired for saying hoe. NO women especially hard working black sister on a basketball team, in college is a HOE!!!!

  • "NO women especially hard working black sister on a basketball team, in college is a HOE"......Now youre just speaking out of your ass. To go as far as to say that no women are 'hoes' or that no women that plays basketball is a hoe? Thats pretty fucken stupid. You fucken idiot.

  • thank you for being real, death to the fake and the immature

  • also u say that don imus doesnt affect the black community, u are crazy.....don imus sadly audiences are our bosses, our teachers, and etc....he has connections with politicans, most of his visitors are politicans those are the ppl that run this country, so everyone is affected

  • Don Imus deserved to be fired because he targeted the rutgers girls when it wasnt warranted, if it was celebs, politicans, governement officials or guest on his show then u can say it was fair game, but it was dead wrong, he harped on it, he didnt just say one thing

  • preach!!!amen

  • Finally, someone with some common sense.

  • Well said...when we lose the ability to laugh at ourselves...and desperately NEED others to take us seriously...our pathetic situation is apparent to everyone but ourselves...

  • good blog.

  • That's right man. Black comics make their living making fun of white people and when the shoe is on the other foot it's national news. If Don Imus is racist then so is Def-Comedy-Jam

  • This is the same indignant Coach Stringer that has been accused (with proof) that she told her girls that she didn't want any women on her team that were or looked like lesbians

  • I do agree on one thing you said so called black leaders do need to talk about the REAL issues in parts of the black community and hon what he said was RACIST.

  • If he only said they were rough looking it wouldn't be a problem. To add nappy headed h* was too much.

  • I guess the reason you thought it was funny is because you use this language yourself. If that's the case, then you are part of the problem. Negative words have an impact regardless of race. If a person is told negative things long enough, they begin to feel it's true. Some even attach their self-worth to it. This can lead to all types of problems. I guess you consider yourself smart so why don't you see the correlation between the problems you see and what is said.

  • Man please....you dont know me to know what language I use...its funny how people like you try to make there responses seem intelligient but end up sounding silly...re-evaluate your words and statements before you submit them

  • You said you found it his comments funny. Experience has taught me that those who find nothing wrong with certain things either participate in or approve of those actions.

  • Regardless of what your experience has taught you you dont me to form an uneducated and assumed opinion like that....lets be thoughtful with our responses people please

  • The reason one can imply he said they looked rough was because their (Rutgers) hair, in general seemed more "nappy", there were more kinks, you know. That is based on a white standard of beauty, and that's only part of what's so offensive about it.

  • Maybe cycles of black issues you're addressing stem from r-a-c-i-s-m in society, housing, education and employment. Imus referred to Spike Lee's jigaboos vs. wannabes. If you are familiar with that film (Do the Right Thing), that's light skin w/"good hair" vs. dark skin w/"bad" hair. So to say both teams were "equally black" is to ignore the differences that Imus himself referred to as the basis for his insult.

  • Imus has a history of such offensive comments. We DO address greater issues that affect us, but t's not what the mainstream wants. Why do you think this is such a hot topic? Because of backs??? We have spoken up about many isues, but these 'look-it-what-the-yt-said' comments tap into the historical rift between blacks and whites and make good NEWS. Whoruns the news? Hmmm.

  • You're 100% absolutely right.

  • Uncle Tom!

  • Great comments man!

  • yeah man well said...I think when one white person slips up a bit the black community trys to milk it for all it's worth and blame the whites as much as possible.

  • I agree

smart blog. its not about what he said but rather about extractin as much benefit out of it as possible. I'm not from US but when I visit US I always get this impression talking 2 black people like the rest of the society owes them somethin. its not easy 2 be black in predominantly white society but they have 2 understand that in order for people 2 actualy think good of them they have 2 work hard, rather than expect preferencial treatment & cry bloody murder at any convenient ocasion
