tennesseegrl5, you posted your answers to these questions the way you did because that is your interpretation of the bible. You are saying that your interpretation of the bile is correct because the bible says so(look at your earlier posts and that is what you said).
On a second note, where did you get the idea that the bible is "god's word"? The bible? If you think that the Bible is God's word because the Bible says so, that is circular logic.
The argument that the bible can't be used as evidence for itself is faulty logic. Last I looked, the bible was well an accounted for regardless of what people felt. Though this would have no impact whatsoever on the credibility of the information within it.
The short answer is "OF COURSE" we admit and analyze information as a means to assess credibility. So the idea that the bible can't be used toward itself is completely false.
7) It would cause some people [in the old times] to call themselves, higher than others or a descendent of God.
8) Just because we don't SEE him doesn't mean he isn't there. You can see him through everything. Dreams, visions, and stuff you do everyday.
9) He want's you to remember his sacrifice, but he never said drink my blood and eat my body.
10) Nobody's perfect dude.
That's it.

1) God does heal them, but not physically.
2) This goes back to God giving free will to Adam and Eve- You heard of the result. SIN, Evil, etc. This leads us to this result.
3) Unfortunatly, no one is innocent. Except for newborns. Everyone at one point in their life has sinned.
4) They didn't have modern scientific technologies back then.
5) Slavery was ok. The 'masters' had to be kind though, but the 'slaves' needed to be happy in their work.

#1-3: God lets these things happen because of the free choice He gave us and the sin in the world.
#4: "modern science" isn't 100% accurate.
#5: God was not a proponent; where in the Bible do you find this?
#6: same as answers 1-3
#7: miracles don't need evidence to be proven true.
#8: Jesus hasn't appeared because it is not His time to come.
#9: doesn't literally mean eat His body and drink His blood.
#10: Christians aren't perfect.
you're questions are good ones.
God Bless

In the bible it also says homosexuals should be stoned to death...
nusquamdeus 2 years ago
because homosexuality is a sin.

It also says killing is a sin. And do you honestly think homosexuality should be punished by death (stoning generally results in death fyi)?

Thats the old testament. If you knew something about the Bible, God set out new rules in the new testament after the flood.
I really dont think that you have the qualification to make this video. How much of the Bible have you even read?

you can't use the bible as evidence for the bible
WorseGoodNews 2 years ago
Exactly. That's circular logic. You wouldn't say your history book is 100% correct because your history book said so, now would you?
nusquamdeus 2 years ago
I never said the Bible was 100% correct, however, I believe it is.
And WorseGoodNews, I wasn't using the Bible as evidence for the Bible. the Bible IS the evidence. It's God's Word.

Yeah! Preach it! :)
