press select then scroll down to "recovery menu" hit x, then go to "plugins" enable it, sometimes it does it for you

@lightening9636 if you wanna do the custom firmware make sure you did check your motherboard on a psp go you can use pspident 0.73 els it gets jusr bricked and to do the 6.20 pro b9 b8 or b6 or b5 you make sure you did update it but to put pernament cfw on it you need a motherboard 5g or lower

@gta5430 are you using earphones? when the earphones are pluged you cant go maximum. if thats not the case then keep pressing Home and R at the same time to get the sound working.

To those that say this lags your psp... It only slows it when the hot keys are hit... also take into consideration all the processes and other plug ins you are running... The psp only has a 333mhz processor and 32 mb ram... What do you expect it to run like a I7 and multi task? ;) Anyways might be a good idea if lag occurs in game... try disabling plug in and use it when you listen to music.

@setok111 oh one other thing if you are using earphones and the volume is all the way up. the sound will turn off. if you put to the third to last volume bar it will turn on. it does that to prevent your earphones from blowing out.
