nice...i was contemplating getting a 560 to play this game but now I am going to hang on to my 9800gtx cause that fps is good enough for me...but the graphics setting you use...is that the optimal in performance and visual?
never said you needed one. But my GTX 580 is having a lot of fun at playing this game @ max :P Nice showcase though, I have to say, the 9800GT is *GREAT* value for the money.
I'm not going to spend more than 300 euros again for a GPU hehe. I once bought a 8800GTS 320 for 320 euros and at the time it was relatively cheap, but now i'm not even considering.
You can buy that card secondhand for 30 bucks now lol.
@C00kie007 Ah.... You might not be talking to the right person then... I have a GTX 580, and next on my list is ANOTHER GTX 580 to throw in SLI on my new 300 euro ASUS ROG LGA2011 motherboard with a 950 euro i7 3960X processor.
Then again, I use my PC for just more than gaming. I also do workstation related things like 3d editing and some heavy media editing. And I just became a youtube partner :P I hope I can make enough money off of that to fund and SSD, hehe.
@C00kie007 I wanted to get a Plextor M2P. I do NOT trust OCZ and their sandforce controllers. Marvel all the way. Agility/Vertex, etc. I'm not even going to. And neither am I going to get PCI-E SSDs. My Graphic cards are kind of taking up all of my space already e.e
But seriously. I'm hearing about A LOT of failures with sandforce drives, and the plextor M2P is the fastest SSD out there atm, with uncompressable data. (sandforce uses active data compression to achieve the higher speeds it has)
3,25 gb ram? wtf i am reading??

you play on metro map.... Try on Gulf Of Oman :)

@Ghostounet43 No can do. The 9800GTX+ died and has been replaced by a MSI GTX460 hawk talon attack über card.
Oman was not very playable tho.

Your PC is the same as mine, incredible!
Is BF3 playable? I tried the beta but it crashed every 2 minute or so.
How does it run on wider or external maps?

@JosephLouisLagrange
It's heavy duty under external maps. Not recommended. It isn't unplayable, but it lacks experience.
Maps from vanilla run fine, but maps from B2K are tougher. Haven't been able to test that.

do you think its good playable with high textures if you decrease the effect level and the terrain decoration on high by a resolution of 1440x900?

You should be running that e8400 at 4ghz!

does the singleplayer run in the same way concerning the fps?
sticki1990 3 months ago
@sticki1990
SP runs better because it's less CPU demanding. My 9800GTX+ Broke down a few days ago. Now I have GTX460 :d

@DavidGabRieL07
I think it is, yes. When you leave the textures and mesh quality on low it's very playable.
C00kie007 3 months ago
do you think it would be run good with high settings? how much fps would be there with high settings?
sticki1990 3 months ago
@sticki1990
When you put mesh and textures on high it's unplayable.
C00kie007 3 months ago
49 fps is not enough, 60-90 is best.

@appletickle rubbish...console players play at at a steady 30fps and its completely playable

OCZ revodrive 3 x2? :d
That thing is awesome. I also do 3d modelling on Autodesk programs. Though they're not that heavy so this PC is fine.
