For the inside of her (1977?) house, search "ABBA-The Name of the Game and click on the first result, by ABBAVEVO. That video, according to Bjorn, was filmed in Agnetha and Bjorn's house.
It's amazing really that during the height of ABBA's fame she lived in what looked like a relatively modest suburban home. Thank you for making the video, the only criticism I have is that the words are at times not easy to make out because of the images behind, and they don't say on the screen long enough. But it's very interesting at the same time. Nice work.
Hello thanks for that. The wurds for each slide are also in the description beneath the video (click on show more) and more eaily readable there. The description used to be alongside each video until youtube made some unwanted layout changes last year - cheers from John!

That was quite a tour and I loved it. I hope Princess Agnetha didn't mind. I often wondered what her early life was like. I imagined it somehow MORE MAGICAL. Reality is such a drag compared to the wilds of one's imagination.....Chucky Dreams Alot.
Thanks Anita - yes Agnetha's early Swedish solo songs like this one are absolutely wonderful and she wrote most of them herself while still very young!
Thanks Becky, yes this is a really beautiful song from Agnetha. It's from her 4th Swedish solo album Nar En Vacker Tanke Blir En Sang (When A Beautiful Idea Becomes A Song) which was released in November 1971. You'll find info like that in the description by clicking on "more info" in the top right of the screen beneath the date.
Thanks very much - I've found Agnetha's solo work to be very high standard and her songs soon grow on you just like Abba, both before and after she was with them!
abbafanglosuk , Hi, Trully, You have on this video such an extense of great information about Agnetha, and Abba. Idid knew some but most of the information was new for me. Please, keep the good work, Agnethas, fans, like me are seeking more and more information about them. May God bless you, Lepton
Thanks again Lepton - I put lots of information about Abba and Agnetha in all my videos, that's why I only manage to do about 1 per week at most. I consider the video is incomplete without knowing the background to each song and performance - cheers from John!
John, Your job is exelent. I can tell you that it was one of the best I had seen because the dedication you put into it. I know that a lot of Abba fans and sepecial those like me that love Agnetha are trully happy with your effort on bringuing such a quality video to enjoy and know a litle more about our Queen of Hearts. God bless you.
Yes I've catered for that - if you click on "more info" in the top right beneath the date you can read the text clearly for each slide - cheers from John!
Cheers Ann - yes this was one that I put together myself so I'm quite proud of it. Happy New Year to you also hun and lots of hugs - we've escaped the snow again!
Abbafan Thank you for sharing those photos. We hv something in common other than our love of Agnetha and ABBA . I too am a life long career civil servant having just retired as a Government Veteran Employment Rep. after 25 years of service. Iam also a Viet Nam era disabled vet. Thank you for ur service to the public!
Thanks for your kind words, its very nice to be appreciated! I find it an honour to do videos for Agnetha amd Abba as they are both great artists who tend to be undervalued when compared against today's music. Agnetha in particular does not get the credit she deserves for writing her own beautiful songs like this one. I'm getting near our nominal retiring age of 60, but I may well stay on as you get used to daily life in organisations like ours. Well done for your service to your country also!
Yes its only when you hear Agnetha outside of Abba that you realise just how talented she is both as a singer and a songwiter. This is a wonderful song, one of the best I've heard!
John, I'm so sorry I didn't make it to the table on this one. YT hates me, I never get informed of my friends posts. I have to intentionally search them out. This vid is fantastic. A wonderful reminder that greatness comes from humility. That was Agnetha's core. What an amazing show. Thank You. Fav for sure.
Hi Rob yes I agree that youtube is underperforming lately! When I try to share to all contacts, that fails completely with "too many" error message. So I then try share to all friends, and that seems to be limited as well as only a few hundred messages get sent. I think they're gradually lowering the share numbers by stealth to save space. I suppose we'll have to live with it. Thanks for nice words, I was very pleased with this one - this beautiful song by Agnetha deserved something special!
Yes Agnetha has always come across as a very modest person throughout her career, and these pictures show just why. There's been no extravagance in her life, she's had to work her way up from humble beginnings and has always lived in normal houses throughout her fame! Its another reason why we all love Agnetha!
Thanks John, yes I spent a couple of days thinking about how best to do this video before I even got down to looking for the right pics and info after hearing Agnetha singing this so beaurifully. I felt this song deserved something special, so I came up with doing a feature on places that were special to Agnetha while she sings about her Summer Land. I decided to keep the info for each slide fairly simple for easy reading which seems to work very well , and I can use it for quick reference!
That was very interesting, thanks for posting this!! I think it's sad that Agnetha finished up the way she has, after being so vibrant, and now very much a recluse. She was, and still is, very lovely with a beautiful voice!!! : )
Hi Shelley, yes I agree with your assessment - Agnetha was not as happy again after the split from Bjorn. I think she got harrassed a lot in the 80's mainly by the media spreading untrue gossip. That prompted her to move to her isolated island home to escape it all. She was very reclusive through the 90's, but since doing My Coluring Book she seems much happier and is often seen out and even attended the Mamma Mia premiere in Stockholm with the rest of the group for the first time in years!
I did a video for that event called "Abba - Mamma Mia - Stochholm Premiere" showing Agnetha attending with all the stars and dancing outside the theatre with Frida and Meryl and looking very happy!
Thank you Bill, your praise makes me feel quite humble! You're right Agnetha deserves the best, and it was her beautiful singing here of her own song about her summer land that inspired me to do this video about her homes and special places in her life. It took some time to research and do, but now I feel very proud of it with all this nice feedback! Once I heard this song, I knew something special was needed - that's the affect Agnetha has on you!
Cheers Marie, Agnetha has earned her nice home for all the great songs like this that she's brought to us throughout her career! Yes this is just like a mini-biography of her life, inspired by Agnetha singing about "My Summer Land"!
Thank Gilbert - Agnetha's solo songs are exceptionally good for album tracks. I wanted to do a good video to go with this very nice song about her summer land, and showing all the homes that she's lived in seemed ideal. Plus this is all very useful information for the viewers!
This is so interesting John! You did a wonderful job of putting the pictures together of Agnetha's homes! I was going there this year for the opening of the museum but since that was delayed I decided to wait. I can't wait to go to Stockholm and see so many things connected with ABBA. Thanks for sharing and all your great information you put in your videos!
Thanks Dallas, yes this one was a bit of an epic with some hunting around to get the right pics and info. But it was worth it as it can be used for future reference. Thanks Marie - yes you can easily look at this info anytime for reference like in a dictionary or biography, and you get Agnetha singing this beautiful song to you as well!

Something like this is useful to fill in the gaps in her home life and save you hunting around - and this is a wonderful song from Agnetha to listen to at the same time! I like to put plenty of interesting background info in all my vids, cheers from John!
This was so great my friend, I have been out on that place with some friend when I was visiting Stockholm for some years ago and It so beautiful out there.
Thanks Carina, I'm glad someone who's actually been there likes this history of Agnetha's homes. I was drawn to do this subject by Agnetha singing this beautiful song about her summer land and that's what her island home is to her + and in winter of course!
