Well that flight has recently changed, since October 31 it has become BA2062 I think, and it goes into London Gatwick Airport, and it is now operated by a Boeing 777-200. The flight to Mauritius is now known as BA2063, also operated by a Boeing 777-200. I live about 3 miles away from Gatwick.
I Remember when i came in on a A340E Air Mauritius only these Holidays but most of all when we were taking off. The wings of the A340 are huge and the amount of lift they produce at slow speeds is insane to feel really disorientating feels like every time we go to climb were going to enter a stall!
Are you planning to go on holidays in a near futur?

Aww its indeed really sad when u leave ur country but sometimes we don't have choice we have to leave but we keeps good memories deeps in our heart :-)) Nice clip man
great vid mate air seychelles allows u to rec and take pic if u asked dem wasnt aprb when i travelwiddem was grat flight lots of drincks unlike air mauritius always SOUSERE
Great video. Cameras on planes are not a problem. They do not emit radio signals and are non magnetic. This does not interfere with the flight instrumentation.
it was BA 123 from Mauritius. As for all electrionic equipment having to be off....the cabin crew saw me taking the vid, nobody told me turn it off, so i just carried on! i took the vid because i though the poliot would carry on up the coast for a while, then turn back on to the headding to England....but for some reason he didn't do it this time round. maybe next time im there eh.
@pk2ao I think it's communication equipment only. Things like a normal digital camera are OK, as they are just standalone. Communication equipment isn't standalone, and so affects the aircraft radio / tracking signals, etc. Another example is a normal watch (timepiece) - it is electrical, and you can't take out the battery's of those in a hurry, so they are fine.

The best thing is when you are coming to Mauritius, not when you are leaving it. Btw, i'll be there in one week, can't wait!
