  • Well that flight has recently changed, since October 31 it has become BA2062 I think, and it goes into London Gatwick Airport, and it is now operated by a Boeing 777-200. The flight to Mauritius is now known as BA2063, also operated by a Boeing 777-200. I live about 3 miles away from Gatwick.

  • @jamesfish18 this route is mostly operated by boeing 747

it's very rare to see a british airways boeing 777 landing in mauritius

  • I Remember when i came in on a A340E Air Mauritius only these Holidays but most of all when we were taking off. The wings of the A340 are huge and the amount of lift they produce at slow speeds is insane to feel really disorientating feels like every time we go to climb were going to enter a stall!

  • as i were in mauritius, u can see the hotel where i stay , its at 1.06 in the bay - called "shandrani" really nice only 2 planes a day

  • theres about 5 a day i stayed their twice they said 2 but itz a lie but lovely place my parents got married there

  • very nice video,i miss my paradise(l'ile maurice)

  • Its always good to go holidays and sad to come back here especially leaving the sun there to get back in the freezer here.

  • its been a week im bck from mu...i feel ive been here for ages...its like im in a freezer...there no sign of sunshine..

    amazing video!!1thnks 4 uploading it

  • omg how did you get to use that on a plane????

  • The best thing is when you are coming to Mauritius, not when you are leaving it. Btw, i'll be there in one week, can't wait!

  • after vacationing and goin back it sucks

  • Aww its indeed really sad when u leave ur country but sometimes we don't have choice we have to leave but we keeps good memories deeps in our heart :-)) Nice clip man

  • Well said bro..

  • Evrything great but you are leaving your country that is always sad even if ur are going on holidays.

    Gr8 visual tho.

  • top!!

  • waw..that was wonderful ..brings back memories..

be apres sa 12 heures temp grater senti lerla..hahahahah

  • that was a lonnnnnng take off roll right near the end of runway, beatiful tho:-)

  • great vid mate air seychelles allows u to rec and take pic if u asked dem wasnt aprb when i travelwiddem was grat flight lots of drincks unlike air mauritius always SOUSERE

  • Great video. Cameras on planes are not a problem. They do not emit radio signals and are non magnetic. This does not interfere with the flight instrumentation.

  • it was BA 123 from Mauritius. As for all electrionic equipment having to be off....the cabin crew saw me taking the vid, nobody told me turn it off, so i just carried on! i took the vid because i though the poliot would carry on up the coast for a while, then turn back on to the headding to England....but for some reason he didn't do it this time round. maybe next time im there eh.

  • check my comments above

  • @pk2ao I think it's communication equipment only. Things like a normal digital camera are OK, as they are just standalone. Communication equipment isn't standalone, and so affects the aircraft radio / tracking signals, etc. Another example is a normal watch (timepiece) - it is electrical, and you can't take out the battery's of those in a hurry, so they are fine.

  • I thought all electronic equipment had to be switched off on take off?? Nice vid though.

  • Btw what airline was this?

  • cool take off! I did something similar in January

  • wow, the sea is gorgeous! i sooo wanna go there!

  • you're the most welcome lol
