AlbBuch, actually, the more potent hallucinogens (LSD, magic mushrooms, etc) don't count as hard drugs. This is because they don't cause any physical harm, and are not addictive. While a person who's tripping may fail to keep themselves safe, this can be mitigated by being in a safe environment and having a sober "sitter" with them to make sure they don't do anything stupid like try to fly out of a window.

Just as examples, LSD can help cure alcohol addiction, and magic mushrooms can help prevent cluster headaches. If we had a more sensible drugs policy, these substances would *at least* be legal to use where medically appropriate, but of course, we have to handcuff our doctors because these drugs are "evil". When so-called morality trumps science, something is very wrong.
