fake advertising! My neice was 2 when she could count to 100 & was able to tell correct direction to get back home while we were in a moving vehicle. I also have seen vids of toddlers reciting the Quran. She is cute & any kind of time spent teaching young kids anything will be successful, just that most parents don't bother actively teaching them anything then by the time they are of age to be in kinder, some are behind & some considered "advanced" & the gap grows bigger thru elementary.

I'm a parent, and I don't know about all around smart, but she is advanced at singing. Most kids can't sing actual notes, up and down. It's all one note, monotone. My kid is five, and has just started singing like that.

No. It's not insecurity as a parent. It's primarily that the title wrote a check that the video couldn't cash. The title is the "smartest 2-year old ever" and people clicked on it hoping to see just that (or something close to it).

what impresses me about this is the fact she can carry a tune well. The memorization, well, most kids can do that with enough practice, and most will have several songs or rhymes they do, but carrying a tune is a whole other ball game. IMPRESSIVE as far as I am concerned, as long as you didn't drill it into her with lots of practice. that would sort of defeat it's WOW factor. My kids knows lots of songs but OMG she can't carry a tune to save her life. (she's 2).

This is child's play. At 22 months old I randomly stood on a stool and theatrically recited the entire children's book "the wreck of the zephyr".

Then in elementary school I pretended that my legs were missing and I had 8 different sets of twins.
