Every strategy game I've ever played has let me down. I gave up on the genre after playing Halo Wars. I guess thats unfair to compare all strategy games to that one, but I'm just not a big fan of the genre.

if u want to buy this game, make sure u get it for xbox or ps3 because on the pc the whip select system is a drawback. they put whip select in the game so if you got it on the console then it would be much easier. DO NOT GET IT ON PC, although it is very good on console.

myeah... Looks weird those frikkin' death animations. For a game with such details it should be in order.

Though metacritics lets me stay my hand buying it. Because sometimes i got bloody frustrated that i didnt have 100% control over my units in DoW II.

Though even i would buy it. Vista?? wutlollmao not running it here. I think that's one of the biggest mistakes on this game.

Anyway the game has a nice atmosphere though i think i am not the hardcore rts'er to play this.

yea it is. and the coolest too! the stormy/rainy atmosphere catches the topic of the game pefectly. its a shame all the other levels are not so stormy. how ironic

buildings no! nodes can be upgraded with refineries, raping turrents and annoying shields!

seems pretty cool how you can get ur units on roofs and stuff but controlling them seems stupid without usual rts controls and it seems like its a dumbed down unit selection too. Where are the people with rocket launchers and such :P

Well, I just read every review on this game, and they are all saying this is probably the worst rts ever made. If anyone thinks otherwise, please explain why you think this game is good.

I don't think you've read every review, if that's all you've taken from them.

it's had mixed reviews. A lot of people haven't adjusted to the fact it's not C&C - thus the camera and whip select have gone down like your mum after a few drinks.

It's not bad, but not great. If you haven't played it then your opinion is pish.

This is only second and third mission. In other missions you are able to use planes and other vehicles (tanks, buggies etc.). You can also install turrents and shields on captured buldings.

You are getting units from captured "teleports". You can't bulid structures. Game is cool but sometimes it's difficult to move your units to some locations.
