Reviving the 93 Blue Ford Tempo

Do you collect these cars? If so, do you have a good source for parts? I need a CCRM for my 1993 3.0 V6, but can't find one anywhere.

I have a black 2 door 92 Tempo thats over 200,000 miles. Looks aweful but still runs dam good. Ive had it since 1997. Ive had close to 5 grand in repairs done to it over the last 14 years. It looks aweful as far as paint gos and everything. The paint is very faded and has some rust around the wheel wells. I use flat black paint to cover up rust about once a year. I could have the whole body restored and painted with european paint for 3000 dollars. Im stuck with it. It runs and looks terrible.

my tempo has a problen with the wires of the alternator are menting and catching on fire somtimes do you know what causes this problam

@mitteey oh then its probably a bad alternator. you can go get one from a junk yard cheap or have someone fix it if you cant figure out whats wrong

@mitteey Probably an over active alternator. It proabably needs to be replaced. Dont quote me, but if the Alternator has a semi short, it will provide to much amperage, and will cause it to over heat the wires.

@jovanvictoria To cook steak the right way you need to use charcoal. And 2 big hand full’s of soaked wood chips. Then put the wood chips on the hot coals and let them start to smoke. Then put the steak on the other side (the cold side) and let it smoke away (about 10-15 Min) than move up the coal's and move the steak over to the hot side to sear the steak. If you do it this way it will be juicy, Smoky and yummy. :P
