@jorreerroj DNS blocking is necessary because shutting down the website directly can be impossible. Obviously, people can type in the IP address directly, at least until a solution is found that blocks this (I can think of several that will do the trick).
Every example of "censorship" people have cited usually involves some type of copyright violation here, or someone refusing to check for it or monitor it. People who don't want to break the law, won't.
Do understand that monitoring user input isn't a trivia task?

Ever notice no one ever talks about doing anything about the bootleg dvds, etc people make money off of, and yet there going after other countries like china, yet America, can't even even stop it here, yet want to make all these bills to do what have more control among other things, it's funny in a stupid yet sad way.
