You know how samus is huge?Well, I find it LITERALLY AND VIRTUALLY impossible for samus to turn into a tiny morph ball. weird

I see the Hyper Mode in MP3 as a superior version to this one. Here, you can only use the Phazon Beam in highly concentrated areas of Phazon (final battle), where as in MP3 you can use the Phazon Beam (and other Phazon weapons once you get them) anytime you want, at the cost of an Energy Tank, which is obviously better (but more dangerous if you don't let it overload).
Well, Hypermode in Prime 3 is pretty much the same as in the GBA (Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission) Hard Modes (get less missiles and energy for each expansion), IIRC.
Metroid Prime (1 and 2)'s Hard Mode, is just where you need more shots to kill enemies and they hurt you a lot more. You gain the same number of missiles and energy from those expansions as in Normal Mode.
