I still have this on VHS somewhere. HUGE Bullet Boys fan so it was awesome to see/hear how they were in concert. I believe they did this and, For The Love Of Money and some others. On the same show was Slaughter and they played Up All Night and Fly To The Angels.

Baaaaaad. Poison Warrant etc were just inferior compared with these dudes. Check Tora Tora, Dangerous Toys, and of coourse Black and Blue. More? Spread Eagle, Love/Hate, Cats in Boots...Sea Hags. Most of them had one or two ok songs but that was it. Hair was essential.

This is indeed from a concert featuring all three bands:Poison, Slaughter and the Bullet Boys. This filming took place at my first concert ever. I loved all three bands. This is total nostalgia, thank you.

Like a few others here, I once had this on VHS as well. If I remember correctly, this particular episode featured Bulletboys, Slaughter, and headliner's Poison. I already owned albums from both Slaughter & Poison at this point, but after hearing "Hang On St. Christopher", went out & bought "Freakshow" a few days later (on cassette, no less). It's a great cover, and by far the best track on that album. Thanks for posting this video.

Yeah I still have my vhs of this. Poison and Slaughter were the other bands featured on this same program. My only complaint back then (and now) is that ABC In Concert only aired one Bullet Boys song. Good tune though.

Every kind of horrible piece of shit band and song out there started to get played on MTV, and all of the artists from the 70's/ '80's lost their inspiration to write and compose good original music

Hair metal circa 1991 had this strange cloud (Chili Peppers, etc) hanging over its collective head, like the sword of Damocles. What in the fukk were Bulletboys thinking making Freakshow? It is so ill-conceived, failed art rock...Zaza in 1993 was a partial return to form, especially Laughing with the Dead, but by then the sword had fallen and the head was split (that's when things IMO got really interesting, 93/94:Danger Danger and Warrant going grunge, ACID MONKEY [the supposed new name for BBZ

I'm impressed that a band like this would appreciate Tom Waits. I'm even more impressed that the singer is actually playing the drums to make the song sound right, and not just running around posing.

I agree most of those musicians did run around on stage like headless chickens, but one thing u can't deny is that all those 80's metal guys were virtuoso musicians. This is a decent cover... it just lacks the bite that I really like with Waits... it's a little sedate to me... especially considering it's a rock cover. I am a Waits fan, so I may be a little biased sadly... still all in all I think they did a decent cover... I think Tom is a hard act to cover without losing something in the process, he's just so distinct.
