THanks I hadn't seen these before, her flying insect / robots are some of the greatest things I have ever seen. THankfully there seems to one in the collection of NGV Melbourne. I am surprised there isn't more about her on YouTUbe.
I just recently had the opportunity to see one of Lee Bul's pieces and was absolutely floored. The piece near the end of the video with the chains and glass was the most beautiful thing I have ever saw and I am no expert in art believe me, actually it was my first time going to an exhibit. This piece was the epitome of my childhood fantasies and immediately upon seeing this piece I saw a utopia; a beautiful world over flowing in richness. I titled it "My Crystal Tokyo" :)
@miscorin I agree with your comment entirely - when I saw this exhibit, I felt as though I was blessed from heaven, it was as though a new language was created that spoke only to me
Charlie, that was great, I like how you interposed the stills with sound, and also your waiste high point of view. And I did not forget about a Chelsea Thursday!
