I think they should release a live recording of Hazards. A digital release, if nothing else. They are incredibly talented in the studio as well as on the stage.

yo i'm just gonna toss up a positive comment on here cause it needs to happen. i'm not the decemberists' biggest fan, but they're by no means a 'yawnfest'. They're actually really intensely creative, and have hybridized folk music better than a lot of groups.

thanks for reminding me how boring folk music is, even if they throw in the ocassional sabbathesque riffs in there. Hipsters must be wetting their panties over this yawnfest though.
