  • Thanks for making these. They really inspire me.

  • Look at them grains wave like the ocean. Nice grouping of ferns.

  • Great shots as usual. You really make me want to get out and do some hiking.

  • Another great short film! Nice job!

  • @JesterAT2000 Thanks Jester! I wanted to let you know that ChouChou; a nobo 06 thru hiker (whom you met in Port Clinton, during the floods, in june06 ) I showed her your movie, and she absolutly loved it! She (after watching your movie), the MOST responsible person in the world; started to conspire on how we should quit our jobs, and...

Yea, thanks man, there still may be hope for me falling off the grid yet again!

  • Beutiful need I say more great job my friend

  • @medicjimr thanks Jim, Really enjoyed, and became intrigued by your Doly Sod trip. What a great looking place.

  • great

  • @daydreammen thank you very much!!

  • Another Great video!! I like the product placement in the beginning, it's never to soon to prepare for your partnership!☺

  • @805ROADKING Hey thanks, really. I think it might have gotten shaken up a bit from the climb : P

  • wow, big meadows is beautiful and i just love all the stills too! plus, the music is great! oh but the sunset is just gorgeous! would have loved to have seen it myself!! we can see some pretty sunsets right here from my parent's front porch. you've totally inspired me to make a sunset vid! ... haha, pretty clever hanging the food bag right over the cliff's edge! .. =D

  • @oopspaw hey Katie, so happy you enjoyed, and I'll be looking for that sunset video!

I short roped my foodbag right over the cliffs edge, something I'd never before considered.

  • Reminds me of the Grayson Highlands. Love your work! xoxo

  • @wachytalky digits please???

  • Brother you never stop amazing me .great work miss you guys.

  • @johnscottheald miss you all to, X-Mass!!!

  • BOOT'FUL!

Whenever I'm out campin, I wonder WHY humanity wanted to be civilized and give up the huner gathering lifestyle that worked so well for the Native Americans, and in concert with the environment.

  • @SugarInHisBlood that is a good question. The best answer may sadly involve indoor plumbing, and cable television : )

  • According to your picture -- you're about 14 miles away from the DREWnetwork Global Command Center. As always -- magnificent video! As a side note -- the bears are relatively friendly in this area. I know -- I've had more than one encounter.

  • @drewnetwork I recently made my hiking partner aware of my apprenticeship as a DREWnetwork Vice President. As expected, she placed the back of her hand to my forehead, nodded, and proceeded to hike on, (after what I swear to this day was a slight eye roll). As a side note of my own- after showing her some of YOUR videos, she now thinks MY 7D must be defective.

  • Beautiful video! I would love to hike the Appalachian Trail someday.. at least a portion of it. How far have you hiked on it?

  • @MoviesMusicNature Thank you, glad you enjoyed it. The AT is a great place for log or short journeys. One really doesn't need much to get by on the trail, weight wise. I've hiked the entire thing several times, and have about 18,500 mls on it. You Asked!

  • Love yer' videos!

  • @baddogonline Thanks so much, means a lot to hear that!

  • Beautiful :D

  • @mikeyducati Thanks Mike : D

  • Sweet video.

  • @coffeefish Thanks, really glad you dig it!

  • Great job on this one...love the shots and the way it's put together. You might have to make a professional Appalachian Trail Video Guide :^)

Speaking of which...do you remember the old Philosopher's Guide to the A.T.?

  • @FromUnderTheRock Buck yes! The Philosopher's guide was the best. His descriptive guide was like no other. He'd write stuff like, 'okay when you get to the road crossing, look for a yellow house, you can get water from the spigot there, they like hikers'. I miss both the guide, and it's suggestive tone. Modern thru hikers "tag up" every morning, which means they literally touch the last white blaze they came to the night before (every morning). A reflection of current AT guide books.

  • Very nice job on this vid ! Great pics and what a sunset. If a bear goes for that has a gonner

  • @kidblood1 A maine black bear would feel guilty about stealing my foodbag. Bears in the Shenandoah send cubs to do their bidding. heartless creatures.

  • Nice job on the vid !!!...How's it been going....Busy lobstering here !

  • @cisjohn2616 Hey Capt, thanks, yea been busy doing insurance restoration here, not much time to hike, and goof off. Wish I could've made it up to maine this summer. Suppose to come up over x-mas.
