Its not her courtroom, its ours, and she is employed to serve us (society) in our courtroom. Calling someone honey doesnt fall into that category. Good for him for standing up to her. More people should do that.
@tubehows4life No, it is not a publicly owned courtroom. If it was a real courtroom, there would be a Jury. It IS her courtroom. He was right, you EARN respect. He was heaps more disrespectful INTERRUPTING HER, that guy was disrespectful and if you saw the full episode, you would see that he's a jerk and he doesn't deserve her respect.

Ok... I really don't want to argue over whether respect is earned or you are born with it. I don't even know if this guy is a doctor, but if he is then he deserves some respect for where he is. Judge Milan thinks she can bully people around (most being dirt bags that deserve it anyway) just because she is on her "throne." I just got a kick out of the fact that she got put in her place by someone who she knows is on the same intellectual playing field.. that is all.
This was so sweet... that guy put Judge Milian right back in her place. She didn't know how to respond when he wanted to be called doctor instead of honey. You have to earn respect Judge Milian? That guy went thru 4 years of undergrad 4 years of medical school and 2 years of residency to be where he is today so i think he has earned plenty of it...think before you lash out ms. milian because you just got owned... and out classed!!
people in general need to understand that when someone is in a court room always remember that a judge deserves respect at all times because a judge is representing the law and people should know to respect it. No one likes to go to court at all but the more we control our anger the better and the faster we are out of there. Its always best to follow court procedures in terms of doing what needs to be done and the best possible way without hurting ourselves emotionally.
