There was a clear sealer over the white electricians markings on the precast concrete. We were able to get through the sealer to the paint markings and remove the markings without damaging the concrete. The sealer was reapplied after we were done. The sealer is the loose material that you see on the concrete when we were done and fixed by the general contractor later.
What you think is the damage is the paint rolling up as it is peeled from the concrete. WATCH CLOSELY FROM 2:25 and you will see it moving in the airflow. Nozzle must always be moving, or air is off! Good choice with wide nozzle.....kgoslin sodablasting
It is not eating up the concrete. Several different types of media were tested by the general contractor and baking soda was chosen because it didn't do damage the the new substrate. Stacey
