@downtownibiza You need to check your manual. There is something you're not setting correctly. You must go into the Flash menu and make sure your settings are correct.
@shaneuk666 you can if you want. tried it yesterday with 569736243... was a bit too much light thoug, so for the final image i used just 569736242... xD
i gues if there was a limit, they would say it... o.o
Hey guys, I wanna film professionally, but I don't know which camera to get... The Canon EOS Digital Rebel T1i or the Canon EOS 7D... The Canon EOS Digital Rebel T1i is only like $1,000 with an extra lens, but the Canon EOS 7D is like $1,800 with an extra lens. Is the extra $800 worth it? Or should I get a totally different camera/camcorder?
When I got in to the Canon world I did not know anything and I still know very little but I do know that Nikon had this a while back and now canon is building it's marketing points on this. give me a break... I am not sorry I am a canon user there are pros and cons on both sides and they are quite close in every aspect... but I must say that Nikon is ahead in building things in to their cameras (not saving money as they are always a bit more expensive)...
If they build receivers for the build in transmitter, maybe you could trigger your flash in the softbox. Maybe receivers will be an upcoming device. As I don't use a Canon flash with my cameras anyway.
this is not a groundbreaking new thing ... and still there a limits for that buildt in blitz, even for fill in lights ... I rather buy a dedicated blitz to mount on top and have full control of blitz on it`s LCD display insted of digging throu all the Menus on the camera. It`s not like they can add shortcuts for all the blitzfunctions on the buttons on the camera. As I see this it`s just as a reserv sulution, not for main use, for that I would go for Dedicated blitz + slaves
Thank you for the video but this is a joke, I am a canon user and I always regretted that the NIkonians had the remote flash built in to their camera. They have had this for ages... now that we all have the pocketwizards canon comes out with this!!! DOH
Think of it like this. With pocket wizards if they go out you can still use your camera. If if's built in, then you have to send the whole thing in for repair... It's a nice feature. But I wouldn't give up the external devices just yet...

To tunin111 and KickF
DOH ......
If you can have this built in with your camera, why have an extra device that charge batteries and can break off your hot shoe?
I own a30d AND 50d and might buy the 7d if money allows it. Why didn't Canon put it on the top model before????
So far I know, the built in ones can't trigger the lights in softboxes and still you need a pocket wizard for that.
