It's just there for a final STAB, litterally. I should give it Focus Sash just to make sure it gets in one last OHKO. But, this thing is outdated. You were bloody lucky with that confuse ray Russ. xD And by the way, I have an Umbreon myself which is pretty similar to yours, though I chose to abandon Last resort. :)

Actually, if the math is done, Payback STABed is a power of 75 and considering how slow Umbreon is, Payback doubles its power when attacked, so it's the same only Ghost types like Gengar won't wall you.

The marowak was a goner either way. Last Resort just works too well. It's more of a move to use to speed up the dying porcess.

Payback on Umbreon would probably be better to not have to use EVERY move to attack.
Plus, Energy Ball's your better bet over Giga Drain.

Last Resort is stronger, and it's meant as the name suggest. I typically use the others movies first to begin with. So, it doesn't get in the way.
Since Sceptile already knew Giga Drain, I did not want to waste a TM. Everything works fine just as it is.

It has a power of 50. Double is 100 and last resort has 130.

You're forgetting the STAB addition because Umbreon and the attack are dark types.
50 + 25 (STAB) x 2 (If Umbreon gets attacked first) = 150
