I've been to Herman park and saw these thing...

They are Coypu (or nutria), can be identified with bright orange front teeth

Can also be mistaken for a beaver or a muskrat. However, they all have a different tail!

Beaver got a flat paddle like tail, muskrat got a semi flatten tail with scales, and the coypu got long and round rat like tail.

The coypu also carry a parasite that can cause a skin infection known as dermatitis. So i don't know about feeding them hand-on...

It doesn't matter WHAT it is, it's very cute how tame this animal is, and this for a wild animal!! I don't think it's a muskrat, the tail looks a bit too small for it (not long enough) or maybe it got damaged some way. Very cute and awesome animal anyway, specially the white whiskers. NOTE: it's not a beaver for sure: beavers have flat tails, not rounded ones. If I'm wrong, please correct me.
