Continuing my comment below, thinking the federal government was going to give you money when you have defaulted on money you owe them is LAUGHABLY ASININE.

Not paying what is essentially a PAYDAY LOAN that you set up with H&R Block just because the government is using your refund to pay itself back for the loan that you won't pay back makes you...words fail me.

Okay, let's see: refusing to pay your student loan debt makes you a DEADBEAT.

Needing H&R Block to prepare your taxes makes you FUNCTIONALLY ILLITERATE. Seriously, is it that hard? You went to college at least for a while.

Thinking Rapid Refund is a good deal makes you STUPID. You probably filed in April even though you had everything you needed in late January and could've received your theoretical refund in Februrary.

This is so phony..... a viral video to scare people on student loan debt. The government should not be in the buisness of student loans. The government allows factory jobs to go over seas there is no jobs left except for 7.00 to 12.00 hour so they insuate a promise of 30.00 an hour and put you into debt and servitude. Yeah we can pay back our loans if we live in tents.The biggest mistake anyone can make is to take a student loan. If you can not pay cash for school then don't go.

what a moron!! h&r block didn't charge you those fees, the lending bank did (HSBC) and that could've been avoided if u would've just waited for you refund instead of trying to get it the same day. and by the way you need to consent to all those charges before they are chosen out of three options on how fast you will get your money. Try being more responsible, stop looking to screw someone over. Obviously those students loans weren't used to educate YOU!!!

they are going to take your tax money  ever years and since the irs and dept of ed work together they will find out where you work and take a min of 18 to 25 %

this is what you need to do either consolidate your loan throught the wdf program and get out of default or get on the rehabilition plan at 1.3 percent of the balance paid back monthly
