@reb1009 You won't lose everything. Just back them up by copying the My Documents / Sims 3 folder to desktop. Then uninstall and reinstall. Worked for me...

i bought the sims 3 and i still have it. my computer is too old to run the damn program. so i had to pay 100 bucks to make it take the program. i'm just waiting till i get a laptop. i wish i could play the 3, but 2 is okay.

@yayoosyou the do have cheats... you just click "ctrl+shift+c" and type "testingcheatsenabled true" now you don't need to put "boolprop" There's also the money cheat, same as the sims 2 "motherlode" :/ They still have all the same cheats.

@Autumnmybaby4677 I do like Sims 2, but I think both games had some serious flaws, and in the case of the Sims 3, I don't think a pets EP will fix it. Let's just hope that if there is a Sims 4, then some of these will be addressed. That being said, I don't know what big improvement they could make besides adding weather. That would really be it.

Sims 3 isn't so much better than sims 2. Both is great equally(of course sims 3 is more realistic), I love building houses on sims 2 (If you download the right furniture, wooden floor, wall-paper/paint) because it is way easier and building houses on sims 3 is also as amazing but there's so many options you don't know where to start! Though to be honest, the characters looked way better on sims 2 than in sims 3. (mod)Boobies. Nuff said.

@PammieChan Um first off having a lot of options is good you can do more stuff! how is that a bad thing? the characters on sims 2 do not look better, they all look the same. the only way you could make them look good were mods. sims 3 does not need mods to look good! they have a bunch of sliders to customize your sims, which sims 2 DID NOT have. Boobs? You can adjust the boob size in sims 3, from flat chested to huge! you cant do that in sims 2 without mods.

It's not a bad thing, I'm just easily confused in what I would want my walls to look like if I have 1 millions of patterns to look at and choices. It can take me hours to finish building a house in sims 3. And Also, the sims 2 were good until you start playing the sims 3. When you look back on an older generation of the sims, you go ''shit and I thought it looked good'' And did I even mention the boobs on sims 2 ? I thought that was for sims 3. Anyway, Mods are always win.

the sims 3 game is better than sims 2 by miles, because whenever you want your sims to go to a community lot, it wouldnt com up with tht load screen which last for ages, and you can have babies at the hospital and at home and they have better hair and whenever yu load the sims 3 on, you can download stuff and they take a couple of seconds to download on to the game

You could go outside with the baby,But the kids have to go on the bus. Although when there teens they can take there own car/bike to school.
