This recitation is very faulty. Many important lines are just missing!! Some places the verbs have been changed which change the meaning altogether or don't mean anything. Faulty pronunciations to add to it.

The Ganesha are a race of interdimensional beings far more technologically and spiritually advanced than the human race. The ones that i have encountered have orange hair like tentacles and talk telepathically. Yes they can "remove obstacles" and manifest certain things in our existence.  They need human DNA to survive and have been conducting biological experiments with the human race and others for thousands of years. I could tell you more but you're probably not interested.....

You got me completely wrong. If you truly have faith and devotion towards him, you would start facing the situations where you see multiple paths to follow. He directs you to follow the correct path and rewards you handsomely. You keep on learning new lessons in your life and your life becomes beautiful and protected. However, inspite of knowing what is not correct, you stick to the wrong path, he has its own wonderful way to make you realize that you're doing wrong.

there are no rituals, have a picture of the lord in front of you and start taking his name that is it.

hi julian, u can start with an idol of ganesha. u can start on any tuesday. early in the morning, after finishing ur bath, u can offer light(candle or lamp), offer fruits or flowers to ganesha and read atharva seersha or panchatatra stotram or just om gam ganapataye namah for 11 times.

There are no real differences, this one starts with the Shanthi mantra. Also many people Add/Remove relavent sections as required :) As long as most of them have the core "Atharvashirsha" it does not matter what follows before/after
