I'm not christian, and i agree with you, i hate when people try to force something on me, it doesn't make me want to become christian, quite the opposite actually...but i respect every ones beliefs and i think everyone should be able practice their religion...anyway, 5/5 video, and i luv biblegirl7!
"Not all Christians are alike." O, I so agree. Thank you for this video. I just want you to know you make a brillent point. Thank you so so so much. =)
I agree..when people do that, my first thought is usually something like "oh great, another Christian who has a mental problem...right there for public viewing!"
Well done, and you didn't get off on any "tangients"! ; ) You were concise & to the point! It's true, trying to "scare" someone into believing or being pushy doesn't work. They have to open up & experience it for themselves. Otherwise, it's like trying to explain what an orange tastes like to someone who's never had one!
Thank you so much for this two part comment and I agree with the points you make. It's hard to strike the balance when talking with other people who are non-believers. I'm always fearful of offending and not getting my point across. Thank you for watching my video and for the thoughtful comments! -Doug
Pat Robertson states what he believes as well, but has a gentle personality about himself. My brother met him in person, when he lived in Va. Beach. Much of the critcism of them is because they are on TV, so people figure, "TV Evangelist=FAKE", and there ARE some! Just as there are in many other walks of life, but that doesn't invalidate the genuine ones! ; ) Helps to meet some solid Christian people where you LIVE, so you can really get to KNOW them. (Sorry...had to do this in 2 parts! :S )
I think a really bad thing is that God and Christians really needs to get some new PR going. When people think of Christians, they think of people like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell and Fred Phelps who are loud and hateful, and of course the media points the camera at them, and they ignore real Christians who exemplify Jesus's love.
Good points... Our conduct is supposed to reflect that of Christ's, and the Bible says "work out your own salvation, with fear and trembling." We need to find ways to reflect it without the proverbial "hammer" Good job!
Great video. I agree on all points. Was it St. Francis of Assissi who said "Witness to everyone you meet. Use words if necessary"? I love that quote. And the dropping in scriptures here and there, in every video, is intentional. It's my way of accepting everyone who watches, and educating them on the Bible, without being pushy. And it lets them know what I believe. :)

Preachers screaming on the corner just make me think they're off their rocker. I don't think anyone listens to them really. Good video.

Jerry Falwell, who just went home to be with the Lord, stood his ground on moral issues.Firm, yes. Hateful, no.
