@piratatrillo i read on wikipedia that it was but it i checked on my ps3 and it's not there. but you can buy final fantasy 7, 8, tactics, resident evil 1-3, and a bunch of other games. they don't have ps2 ones only ps1

Yes, with a touch of horror. It was developed by the same folks who created the King's Field and Echo Night series on the PS1 and PS2. Some of the development team would later go on to create Demon's Souls for the PS3.

Also, although the original Shadow Tower (for the PS1) was released in the US, its sequel on the PS2, shown here, was not. :/

I *highly* recommend "King's Field: The Ancient City" if you think this game looks appealing. An unusual game, but I loved it. LOVED it.

these are the guys who made Demon's Souls. Classic, I loved Shadow Tower for ps1. They've come along way with Demon's Souls though.

As far as i remember in the first 2 Kings Field games you had to wait up to 2 seconds from the time you hit the button to the time the sword actually appears to strike the enemy.

Now this one actually looks good but on what system and what regions is it available?

@Tinhh are you kidding? morrowind was the most atmospheric game i've ever played. oblivion: you're 100% right, no atmosphere at all. then again, they did only have a handful of people working on building, dungeon and city designs.

That is true enough of Oblivion, but you couldn't be more wrong about Morrowind. Morrowind is easily one of the most atmospheric games ever made. The environments, the dungeons, the towns, the people, the music - everything about it oozes with atmosphere.

No, it's very different of Shadow Tower. And location is different too. I played until ending in Japanese version, only one stage look like original series and nearly all stage is... Africa+Asia atmosphere.
