  • "Do not try this at home!" How and more important why should I ?

  • hehe, can water can cut diamond? If not, try use salt with it (it have to be like the ocean salt). Then let see it can cut it.

  • How could I try it at home? I checked my basement and attic, but I didn't find any water-cutting machines...

  • but can it cut out most of this vid?

  • can water cut steel?

  • @shootemndie - Yes, ultrahigh pressure abrasive waterjet systems can cut steel. For more info, go to the applications section on flowwaterjet com.

  • thought it was another senseless video till he stepped in.

  • Why did people dislike this/ I don't understand.. What's to hate?

  • so cheesy lol nice to see something different along the lines of the will it blend videos tho

  • wierd part of the internet, again.

  • This video is retarted

  • can it start cutting for example at the top dead center of the bowling ball and work out or does it have to cut from one side to the other side.

  • @pyrothrax0x - It can pierce the bowling ball at the top dead center and start cutting from there. However, it was easier to cut going from one side to the other (as shown in the video).

  • Can it cut the first half of this video?

  • Cutting starts @ 1:04.

  • That kitchen has a bowing alley?!?!?! Mother of God!!

  • "Dont try this at home" ye an ultrahigh-pressure Flow waterjet is a standard in every modern household.

  • @rimedrider It uses the same water over and over

  • 1:52 I thought for a second that he would split his legs.. p.s that chick isn't to bad looking.

  • Why am i thinking to much wastage of water? or is this a good way of creating less waste or recycling????

  • I came to watch a water jet cut things (for some reason). I stayed for the acting =)

  • Dont try this at home? Seriously??

  • @TimpBizKit dude this is a very very high pressured water and u need that high pressured machine to actually even cut a cake

  • Don't try this at home, like I can just put my finger over a hose pipe and cut it with the spray, or cut with a pressure washer

  • 1:10 for cutting

  • Screw a lightsaber. Science, make me a watersaber.

  • You should cut a blend tec blender and the will it blend due should blend a piece of your machine. To establish superiority.

  • It's not the water doing the cutting, it's the debris that the water is carrying.

  • Pretty awesome, but seems a waste of water to me D:

  • @Mastrfreak Never understood that term, 70% of the earth is water, and even then water evaporates whether you use it or not. The only way it would be "wasted" is if it went from being fresh water to salt water.

  • First thirty seconds of the video: Who gives a freak if she can bowl? She's pretty.

  • i dont understand why idiots dislike it... it did that the title said... ?

  • 1:04 now u dont have to wait to get to the good part

  • will it cut diamonds

  • They use high pressure water jets to cut steel..pretty sure it could cut a bowling ball no issue.

  • can water cut water ?

  • @freddykill13 Stupid, but smart, BUT stupid

  • Its not entirely water. There is an abrasive agent mixed in as well.

  • it would suck if you put your hand under there

  • so thats just water pressure gun thats cutting it? how many liters does it spite out in a minute?

  • @Frouza - It is water and abrasive, a slurry mix running at 87k out of the nozzle. The Flow waterjet can use anywhere between 1.89 liters – 5.22 liters per minute. The more water and abrasive pushed through the nozzle, the faster the cut speed.

  • fake, bowling balls have a steel core!

  • will it cut glass?

  • @bongmaster420420420 - Yes, waterjets can cut most glass (except tempered glass).

  • @CanWaterCutIt even diamonds?

  • how the hell would i try this at home?

  • i did try to do this home, but my water tap didnt cut it....

  • This isn't just the water part of the jet is it? I mean you must have abrasive in there too?

This is a large water jet CNC machine correct?

  • @luthmhor - That's right, for cutting hard materials (such as a bowling ball), the ultrahigh pressure water stream is mixed with a garnet abrasive. Through this process, the abrasive particles erode the material. The machine used on this is a Flow Mach 4 series waterjet.

  • Do tempered glass next, but then again I bet you never approval this comment.

  • @ColibriMONOPOL - Your right, tempered glass is one thing that high pressure waterjets have trouble cutting (because the glass can shatter).

  • a mixture of water and an abrasive substance. but cannot cut by water only.

  • @adytohbe2 - Your right for cutting hard material. It is a combination of ultrahigh pressure water and an abrasive garnet mix. However, for soft materials such as food products, gaskets, foam, and tissue paper it is a pure water process (no abrasives needed).

  • these videos are incredibly bad

  • jump to 1:03 to skip the BS.

  • cutting begins at 1:10

  • STRIKE!!!

  • How often you gotta replace flow lines or hoses or whatever on that thing?

  • @Dawgmeatt Very rarely, but it has filters that need replacing periodically, as well as the cutting tips.

  • these videos would be cool if they werent so cheesy

  • So tempting to put my hand under thr.

  • Put your finger in there....Yea..Like that....

  • so how many bar were this ?

  • I think I'm gonna try this at home.

  • Why is this voted so badly? I thought it was cool.

  • Water cooled?

  • What happens when you touch the thing?

  • @231johnjohnson try it and find out.

  • @231johnjohnson The part that touches is simply disappears. Put a finger in it and the contact point is instantly turned to a kind of fine mush and blasted away.

  • 1:04 this will save more time

  • can water cut it? a human body

  • how do i be able to try this at home?

  • @buschsynn - Simple, buy a waterjet :)

  • @CanWaterCutIt now is my question HOW CAN I GET THIS VIDEO IN HD :(

  • @CanWaterCutIt

    can water cut carbon fiber?

  • @buschsynn ya man

  • @buschsynn LOL yeah I know.... Der I was gona use my garden hose

  • @GeneralG1810 hehe. thats funny.i dont think a hose will work though

  • oh my god

  • but will it blend?

  • @firealarmtech7 - Ha! Probably not as well as a blender. But, it will cut a blender (see the "Can Water Cut It? Blender!" video.

  • @firealarmtech7 Bowling ball smoke, don't breathe this.

    Yes it blends >:3

  • thats what i feel when i turn the watter hose on full blast when pointing it at the dirt ground

  • Will it cut Inconel too?

  • @Morkvonork - Yes, a Flow ultrahigh-pressure abrasive waterjet can cut Inconel.

  • how deep can it cut and why doesn't it cut the table? Can you make a watersaber?

  • @GargamelThinks - The waterjet can cut well over 6” of material. If you can fit the material between the cutting head and the table, you can cut it. We have machines with a Z-axis cutting head height ranging from 8” – 24”. The reason you can’t cut through the catcher tank is because the tank is filled with water. Other than air, water will dissipate the jet streams kinetic energy. It takes about 3 ½ feet of water depth to dissipate the energy.

  • What about my hand?

  • But will it blend?

  • Does this leave shavings behind as the water cuts it?

  • @Rotoziptheman - There may be very small shavings that may become incorporated with the broken abrasive as it travels past the material surface, usually discarded with the abrasive is removed from the catcher tank itself.

  • @CanWaterCutIt : whats with diamand? ;)

  • Would the Water just go rite through my hand if i put it under?

  • @davidremixes13 - Yes.

  • @davidremixes13 While uncommon, occasionally operators do get their hand into the jet. It would only penetrate if your hand were firmly secured to a plane. Otherwise it deflects your hand out of the path of the water, likely shattering bones and removing a great deal of surface tissue in doing so.

  • Video starts at 1:00

  • Wierd kitchen.

  • Chuck Norris do this using his mouth)

  • lol, dont try this at home... coz we ALL have an 87,000 psi water jet dont we...

  • y it remind's me of... will it blend?

    oh and.. skip at 1:00

  • what if i put my hand under tht?

  • @Cruisey1234 - The waterjet is cutting at 87,000 psi. So, it would most likely cut your hand.

  • @CanWaterCutIt what if im iron man.

  • @Cruisey1234 - It would still cut it. Even if Iron Man's hand was made out of titanium steel.

  • @CanWaterCutIt what if i used it to clean my toes would it hurt?

  • @Cruisey1234 are your toes harder than a bowling ball?

  • @CanWaterCutIt what if superman put his hand under it

  • @Cruisey1234 YOU ARE TITANIUUUUM

  • @Cruisey1234 hah its funny because i was thinking literally that exact same thing

  • that is the water pressure chuck noris uses for taking a shower

  • "Don't try this at home" ...coz we all have high pressure water cutter's at home :P

  • don't try this at home

like we have this at home!

  • i think it is totally safe to try water cutting at home, seeing that the highest pressure water you can get from a normal home is the jet setting on a garden hose nozzle. don't be silly

  • I was really hoping to see her bowl again and also see her throw half a ball down the alley :)

  • water cut out the grand canyon, yes water can cut anything.

  • Yeah, but will it blend?

  • Wow! I've always wondered what's inside the bowling ball!

  • @DuhuKaralius It should have a weighting block in the middle, but this is empty, which is a bit odd.

  • What about diamonds?

  • 1:00 to actually see the bowling ball get cut

  • It's not water.

It's a mix of very fine sand with the water acting as a lubricant.

  • Please tell me how I can try this at home... so I can be sure to........ not try it at home. ;)

  • ah, but will it blend?

  • Please record with better quality

  • Finally somebody that bowls worse then Me!!!!!!

  • why not just cut it with saw?

  • i have a question: what is under the bowling bowl thats not being cut? thx

  • @RestEdits It looks to be a sheet of metal with a hole cut in it to hold the ball and it probably did get cut a little on either side of the ball. Also , do you see all the water in the table under the cutter? If the water was not there to absorb the energy of the waterjet it would cut through the table and probably into the floor.

  • water made the grand canyon wtf do you think i cant cut?!!?!?!

  • well he split the ball, no surprise.

she never got a spare im guessing though.

  • Can water Cut it!? Yo MAMA!! HAHAHHAHHA xD

  • great first im watching is it a good idea to microwave this then will it blend and now can water cut it

  • can water cut it :HAND!

  • but can it blend?

  • 1:06 how would we try this at home

  • cool

  • chuck norris his super soaker... nuff said

  • 1. Pause video

    2. Press 4 on ur keyboard

    3. Enjoy

  • Where is the weight block in that bowling ball?

  • @HonorGuard1014 - a weight block was not visible in the cross-section of the bowling ball that we cut.

  • @CanWaterCutIt

    can water cut water?

  • @HonorGuard1014 home ball has no block in it.

  • water can cut everythink

  • my karcher can do this

  • sucky video, i come here to see water cutting something and most of the video is stupid music and some woman tryna throw the ball :/ FINALLY got to the interesting part when i was about to give up and find another video

  • Can you and do you put abrasive(s) in the water?

  • @TonyODonnell01 - Abrasive can be added (via an abrasive cutting head) to the waterjet stream. The most common abrasive is garnet, though other abrasives are used (including olivine sand, aluminum oxide, and some man-made materials).

  • Guess my irrational fear of water isn't so irrational after all...

  • Does the diametr of a cut remain the saim all the way to the bottom of the ball?

  • What is the pressure of that water? please answer I want to know :D

  • @ 1:11 the water was like "super saiyan"

  • what happen if u put ur hand is that machine????

  • water can cut steel

  • why the dislikes?

  • these flow jets can cut glass! the ultrapierce is amazing

  • will it blend trumps this by a longshot...but 240p always makes a winner

  • this videos so depressing -.-

  • Is the water recirculated? where do the cuttings go? what about the abrasive? is it one time use or does it get re-used?

  • what would happen if i put one of my fingers on that water cutter?

    pure de dedo!!

  • I bet if i stuck my hand in there I wouldn't feel a thing. The power of the water stream would numb your hand...

  • @Captainchiggs if u put hand in there, you could say goodbye to it.

  • Uhmm. BAD ACTOR.

  • All your life's problems can be solved by cutting.

  • awesome rock song i wonder what its called

  • awesome rock song they play when cutting stuff i wish they would release that song on youtube

  • ithink you made this in Adobe Premiere,

    Rendering fails

  • The video starts at 0:58

  • These people must have the worlds largest water bill...

  • what would happen if you put your hand on the water cutter?

  • @PaybackTyme Try it and tell us.

  • @PaybackTyme - The bowling ball was cut at 87,000 psi. I'm guessing your hand is softer than the bowling ball...

  • @CanWaterCutIt Soooo, if you put your hand under it your hand would just be cut off? lol.

  • how long did it take to cut that?

  • @eatmesoftly - It only took a few minutes.
