i like how with this show they encouraged kids to read, write, etc. it seems like now-a-days they dont do that anymore. i cant think of a single show that is entertaing and has some edifying value for young teens (or whatever age group this show was targeted to).

So many people out there keep saying the show was canceled because it lacked funding, but the real question is "Why did it lack funding?" Obviously, the answer is because the sponsors felt the show was not boosting sales of their products which is probably true because many people probably quit watching when Rob left and Hector was added, when Casey was added, and when they changed Gaby.

Too many changes, too suddenly. It would have made more sense to just keep the original four of the show.

@RnBeautyJazzflower Its true. After one more episode the series was canceled due to lack of funding. I guess they were trying to salvage anything they could.  Its sad, I miss the series.

this episode did suck compared to all the previous! over the last couple weeks Ive started at the beginning and worked my way through them all. This one is just wrong!

now I know why it didnt go on much longer :(

the bumbling fish and wildlife agents and crazy bad guys made this show take a step away from what we loved about ghostwriter and take a step towards today's stupid kids shows. i thinks thats why it seemed off

It's so weird, I thought this was the episode I had seen before, but I remember another show from around this time, and there was one of the main girls getting kidnapped as well, and I only remember the scene with a man or woman wearing a trenchcoat and grabbing the girl and covering her mouth with her hand as she tried to scream. Then I think the person in the trenchcoat hiding the girl under their coat? Maybe I'm mistaken haha.

I like both Mayteana Morales and Melissa Gonzalez. I thought Melissa did well for this episode (this episode is also my favorite). Yes, I wonder what this episode would have been like with Mayteana Morales acting in it. Maybe she would have played the role of Gaby similarly to how she did it in previous episodes: Am I Blue? and Over A Barrel.

I have to say, the villain is pretty psychotic. I'm amazed they went with this for Ghostwriter. Not that I'm complaining, I just thought it was weird. Took a dark turn. Like the Slime Monster episode!
