  • can you tune a super/turbo for low rpm spools? That way you have boost at low rpms, but then vtec kicks in lol.

If its a 4cyl with 1000hp, cool. Not my cup of tea though. Oh and about corners, I'm not taking my car on the Nurgburgring anytime soon so I'm not too worried that I can only drive 65 instead of 85 through canyons.

  • @98DSModded si are almost torqueless ....i think it s around 139 ft/n...but the golf and scion they have really good torque but the si still wipes the floor with them.....buy an evo or a subaru...if u cant afford that get g35...i would

  • I just have bolt-ons and i do 0-60 in about 5.5 seconds...

    stock si's do 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds.

    supercharged si's with bolt-ons do 0-60 in about 5 flat, and stage 2 superchargec can hit 4-4.5

  • hahaha i may be poor because im 17 but my dad is not poor so no a honda is not all i have. And no civic si's will do 0-60 faster than 7 seconds stock. I also have the choice of drivie a tl type s tuned c6 honda odysee 2010 ford escape jeep wrangler and a 2004 boxter.. sure there my dads but it prooves your point wrong in why i like honda.

    Take a fucking hike buddy, you're a typical ricer. They're great cars. It's hard for me to admit as a muscle car lover, but they are. You just have to understand that they will never be some super car.

    Third Gens, (1982 - 1992) are extremely light, I believe there wasn't a single one that broke 3,400 pounds. LS1 Camaros are the later Fourth Gens (1993 - 2002). However, LS1 Camaros were made from 1998 to 2002.

    My '86 is completely stripped down, no radio, no heat, no A/C. Probably weighs 3,000, if that. Weighed I believe 3,225 stock.

  • they are stiff for the street, and adequate on the track. Probably the best you can get for the Si without going with a custom redshift set-up, or to double adjustable shocks like moton or AST.

  • redline is 8200 and the vtec crossover is 3000rpm with the SC reflash

  • @imakarateinstructor rev limiter on Si is 8600, it starts on the tach at 8200 but can go to 9000 safely. but limited at 8600. i know this becuase i work at a Honda dealer.

    I'm doing the 2.4 Stroker Kit once I hit 60K.. and am thinking I should go badass Turb with Turb related bolts...

    Having a constant extra 50+ though sounds awesome. With the 2.4 kit and a quality Turb though... I should be able to push more than 12-15 psi and get a whopping 100 or more. I know it's not constant like your Super, but still... it'd murder you past 100 mph.. but I imagine your Super helps alotat the start : )

  • I went with the supercharger because i track the car. There isn't a tuner in my area that i trust with the e-manage for the Greddy kit, and i didn't want to go with a standalone like Motec as it's just a DD/HPDE car.
