i dont get it, cnc4 is awesome, one of the best games ive ever played, ive played every cnc game (maybe not RA3 uprising) and loved thm all, i am a true cnc fan and this game has been approved.

personaly i think ALL the command & conquer games would be about GDI vs NOD, but ofc the RedAlert series is abit of a sidekick. however, when it comes to GDI vs NOD, it is crystal clear that it shuld be a game much like Tiberian Sun + Firestorm. alltho i totaly like the concept of CNC3 KW with the built-in minigame, and the playable Scrin race.

Story-line wise it all makes sense, The plan right from the beginning, as Tiberian Sun hints at and Kanes Wrath confirms, was to use a massive Tiberium explosion to draw the Scrin to earth. The Scrin, largely realizing they've been had by Kane, peace out. So it all for the most part makes sense. The story line is fine. The problem is;
This game is a joke. This ain't C&C any more. No base building or tiberium harvesting. This game had so much build up to it, but falls absolutely flat on its face. But then shouldn't expect much from EA, since they treat the C&C series as a joke and used it as their guinea pig series, simply to milk it for all its worth.
lets hope for the love of god, EA makes C&C5 (if there is one) a better game then this one, only thing i liked about this game was the intro and the front cover

C&C 4 was just a detour to the land of awesomeness...C&C 5 RA 4 Generals 2 and maybe Renegade 2...the fun is about to begin....and...bring yuri back!!!

at first watching this you think hey maybe nod and gdi will team up against the massive scrim army on their way to earth but no they decide to remove the scrin all together
i like the tacitus knowledge idea, but all of a sudden kane wants tiberium to be controlled? not believable. kane wanted global infestation, and for all humanity to be infused with it, creating god like mutants that would abandon the rich vs poor idea. that was kane's plan. not just ascension.
EA actually didnt have heart in making this game/nor the interest...they were like "damnit lets get this over with already!". Compare this to RA3 where its probably star studded and an overall awesome game (include Tiberium Wars/KW).Even the EA start logo and main menu is shit!

@LoboalphaMASTER of course I have, I sitll like C&C 4. C&C 3 is better but C&C 4 is fun, the only issue with the graphics are the shaders. Believe me I've seen all of thr C&C 3 and C&C 4 textures in photoshop side by side. They're almost the same

Remember Red Alert, ahh the joy of edge of your seat action in a realistic conventional battleground. Kinda real combat meets the wild imaginings of 60's cold war weapon designers. Hundreds of units slugging it out....

LOL...I just bought the game...save your money! Graphics are cool and all, but man, the alien bosses take FOR-EVEEEEEEEEEEEER to kill! It gets to the point where it's not even fun, because you're shooting, and shooting....and shooting....and shooting...until you even get HALF WAY to killing an alien Level-Boss. I guess if you like firing 89,000 rounds at one bad guy, while getting killed 47 times, then this game's for you. LOL

@lonelegendz C&C isn't going away. It's the #1 RTS of the world! :D They made one mistake, and they have other branches of their game aswell. Like my fav, the Red Alert Branch :P and I like the Tiberian Sun ones. The Tiberium wars aren't my favorite; but i still like em.
Why make such a incredible intro with all that stunning tiberium scenery...then totally fuck up the actual game and have no tiberium crisis happening at all! EA must really HATE command and conquer! They owe us a proper game!

@AVATARdemon113 I personally agree with everyone else as far as base building, there should be no problem with building bases and having mobile bases as well, also the colors should remain the same and the story seemed inconsistant, but the TCN is a good idea. No one likes to see an end, but keep in mind, had no TCN been developed then the Earth would have been over run and everyone would die. Also, consider that Kane always wanted to leave, tiberium was his key to bring the aliens

EA is not a developing company its a production company which means that EA will buy up smaller developing company like westwood studios, black box games, and, ect. put them on a budget which makes them money but gives us poor game quality. all EA sports games like madden, NHL, MLB, are the same game each year just updated rosters

EA fucked up that game big time. well the game is interesting, but should not b called C&C 4, more like Generals 2 The Future or something.... and acting in the cutscenes? wow i've seen better soap operas. oh and Basically they took ideas from few games and put it into this one. most of all game looks like a combination of Earth 2150 and Dark Colony... waist of money, mine and EA's

Remember Red Alert, ahh the joy of edge of your seat action in a realistic conventional battleground. Kinda real combat meets the wild imaginings of 60's cold war weapon designers. Hundreds of units slugging it out....
Now we have this crappy half-assed pseudo futuristic crap with what 3 units per army (1 tank, 1 infantry, and 1 plane). I agree EA has KILLED this GREAT GENRE Time to make our own shareware version...it will be better that EA junk!

LOL...I just bought the game...save your money! Graphics are cool and all, but man, the alien bosses take FOR-EVEEEEEEEEEEEER to kill! It gets to the point where it's not even fun, because you're shooting, and shooting....and shooting....and shooting...until you even get HALF WAY to killing an alien Level-Boss. I guess if you like firing 89,000 rounds at one bad guy, while getting killed 47 times, then this game's for you. LOL

@lonelegendz C&C isn't going away. It's the #1 RTS of the world! :D They made one mistake, and they have other branches of their game aswell. Like my fav, the Red Alert Branch :P and I like the Tiberian Sun ones. The Tiberium wars aren't my favorite; but i still like em.

Why make such a incredible intro with all that stunning tiberium scenery...then totally fuck up the actual game and have no tiberium crisis happening at all! EA must really HATE command and conquer! They owe us a proper game!
1. Base building!
2. Tiberium Harvesting
3. Nod = red...GDI = Yellow...NOT GREEN!
4. No ridiculous white room at the end!
5. Kane wants to cover the world in tiberium! (When does a mad man change his mind) Tiberian Sun for proof of his aims!

@vidioinspector did you not even see the ending to tiberian sun?...Kanes paradise, that was his original goal, because the actual character was supposed to be a mad villain who wanted to 1. "DESTROY GDI!" (ALERT, THAT IS A QUOTE FROM TIB SUN)
2. Advance the human race to what he called "the next step in our evolution as a species!"....which was done by embracing tiberium.
The whole ASCENTION thing was a disaster of an idea, and it the core reason EA Failed to live up to what westood had created.

This game was oustanding at one time I was sixth on the ladders for a year. I loved it SeveyB Huberstsa Higgis. top players of all time at one time.

@AVATARdemon113 I personally agree with everyone else as far as base building, there should be no problem with building bases and having mobile bases as well, also the colors should remain the same and the story seemed inconsistant, but the TCN is a good idea. No one likes to see an end, but keep in mind, had no TCN been developed then the Earth would have been over run and everyone would die. Also, consider that Kane always wanted to leave, tiberium was his key to bring the aliens

The gameplay looks fun with regards to the battles but in all rights is another C & C abortion that somehow slipped through the crack in the condom; there are no bases and no resource gathering, how the developers thought this would be a good idea and how it got given the go-ahead, I will never know... Don't fix it if it isn't broken EA!
