You get the Red mail in Ganon's Castle. Look it up on google if you have problems finding it. There isn't a Yellow Mail but the Yellow Shield is the Mirror Shield obtained from Turtle Rock.

Go to the ice palace. I think that was the 6th crystal or whatever. Go into the normal world with your mirror. You'll see a cave, and 2 of those wierd green things. Run all the way to the end, where you'll see a fountain. It says: Welcome to the waterfall of wishing. or something like that. Keep throwing in rupees. Once you reach 100, a fairy will appear. You can either increase your maxiumum bombs by 5 or your maximum arrows by 5.

I did one similar to your last one.

It involved a red soldier near the tree with bushes and stones north of your house.I don't remember very well but I think I ran into my bird with my pegasus shoes and I got hit at the same time by the soldier and I started jumping upwards from the bottom of the screen to the top but I didn't appear to be hurt.
