Let's not get too carried away now. It's a cute commercial about a DOG, it's not sending any kind of subversive message about identity. There are people who deserve to be shot far more than the writer of this commercial.

This commercial broke my heart. Whatever message it's trying to represent was completely skewed. All I got out of this was "people will only like you if you pretend to be something you aren't". Whoever wrote this commercial should be shot. Then Fired.

You guys have it all wrong. I hate Budweiser, and this commercial makes me want to buy it. Because it ISN'T about Budweiser. It's about a precious sad dog who cheats his way into parade - isn't that the American Dream?
