TF has always been a kind of troll, picking on the most certifiably insane creationists and libertarians, he's amusing and the tactic might work on mad fags. Only he knows why he's following Pat, it looks like trolling, though some take it serious. Park 52, burkas, etc, are a non-issues, Saudis buying up businesses and enslaving "their" people are. Opponents keep conflating the two as TF's vid shows.
When you have a lot of viewers, its your responsibility to consider the effect of what you say. True for FOX, true for Pat. Even if his views on Islam were justified, supporting a political party with no chance of electability and policies bad for everyone in all other respects because you agree on one point with them is horrible advice to spread. There's so much to criticize political Islam on, Pat's focus on side-issues seems a waste.
@unassumption Maybe you should consider it, but I don't think I would say it should steer you away from what you want to say. You can have 10 viewers and there's a chance one of them are crazy enough to do something horrible because of something you say. I understand the more viewers you have the greater the chance is... just saying.
I think you might of mistaken what TF was trying to say. He seemed to clear it up rather well in his latest video.
Rational people are more likely to be atheists, doesn't mean atheists are more likely to be rational. National academy of sciences, etc, have disproportionate number of non-believers, but doesn't mean some goth kids won't be. It doesn't even show your more rational in your approach to religion - you could be a nonbeliever for emotional reasons, and even if you were logical on this issue, politics etc are completely different. Linus pauling was a great chemist but his ideas on nutrition?
Huh? Hahaha... yes, trolls know no religion, that's a fact. Theistic, atheistic, apatheistic, they all share traits in common. They "know better" than everybody else (code for "ARE better"). Problem is, even rational people descend into being trolls under the right (or would that be wrong?) conditions.
@RyuDarragh I wouldn't call it trolling in this case... Just people being people. I do think it's funny there are people around telling others they shouldn't tell people how to think/act/talk when within that very comment they are guilty of the same exact thing... I think at some point everyone is guilty of that at some time... it's hard to notice the irony when it comes out of your own mouth.
Personally I like coughlin more than most atheists im subbed too because he is does have a good sense of humor and he interacts with people more than anybody I've seen so far. I like all of our diverse perspectives though, so much to where I think some of the responses thunderf00t and pat condel are getting are sort of uncessesary. The only person I defend religiouly is AronRa...just something about him that gives him authority over all the universe...
@CelticAlphabet AronRa is definitely the man. I agree about Coughlan. Seems like everyone forget about the many civil conversations he has had with a lot of youtubers... or the fact no one cared when he really took it to a theist.
Haven't really been paying attention to the whole situation, but your video pretty much summarized it up for me :P I just like watching you draw and shade everything in haha.
@JohnDReiser To be honest... if everyone agreed all the time on this site it would get extremely boring really fast... could you imagine every video response would be like "you are completely right". I completely agree (obviously) about the "sub-whoring" issue... glad you liked the video :)
@GogoGGK I was thinking everything I was saying on here was common sense... but then again if it was I wouldn't of felt the need to say it I guess, haha... thanks for watching.
how did you use the pen tool so fast?

All this drama talk pisses me off. People criticize each other, agree or disagree. Calling this "subwhoring" is just stupid.
Nice vid btw :)

@PiratedLogic it's not so much drama, as conflict. conflict makes the world and almost more importantly, entertainment go round.
without it, like you said bro, it'd be boring.
also, you almost always make sense. :)
