@best360gamer There are two omaha beach maps. One is omaha beach which is only the bunkers and the other is this map which is dog green which has houses as well. Personally I prefer the bunker one. There is also a map called Fox green which was bunkers as well but isn't played much anymore. And of course all three maps have had all sorts of updates to change them.

I liked this map, but the problem was they made it far too large, and gave the American team about 30 minutes to cap it all. Then they made one that was a quarter of this size, and it sucked. Then made a perfect one where you start out in the boat like this, and it was about half this size. Eventually they got it right lol. And this was before Beta 3.0, right?

this is from the beta. which had an awesom omaha made with hedgrows and a church at the end.

there actually is a custom omaha map but its not the same. still good. lots of trenches and 88's.

but yea anyone who is lookin for a REALLY REALLY intense shooter this is it. (red orchestra ostfront is the original) RO only cost 20bucks and DH is free. its a great realistic game. great community great clans (if thats your thing) get this game.

yea ramusinek thats correct, one catch though is you gotta instal steam with it. so you can buy it off steam or the cd in stores.

Yes, it is hard to aim since it is very realistic (i.e. no zoom like some games). This game is intense, and if you are a war fan, you will love this game.

I dont know, but the germans used it a lot to block passagens over bridges and other paths. And in the reality, they used those gates in Omaha too. Why ? IDK.

They are called Cointet-element's, also known as C-Elements or Belgian Gates. They are a kind of anti-tank fortification. The Germans first encountered these during their invasion of Belgium, but they were able to bypass them because of gaps in the lines they were arranged in. Once Belgium was occupied, the Germans captured them and used them in occupied Belgium and France against allied forces.
