  • This video played almost every night about a week after, 9/11/01.... I still remember this being the first hard hitting and emotional video after the attack

  • I remember this as the first video made of the events that day and was stunned at how quickly it was put together. I was also touched at how poignant were the images selected. The videos that followed lacked the stark truths shown in this simple video, even the "official" videos by "Live". Thanks for posting.

  • I remember watching this video on the evening of 9/11 as tears ran down my face. Here I am, almost 10 years later and I'm having the same reaction. We must never forget those who lost their lives on that day.

  • its wrong they are not playing at the hippodrome its some guy named moby.

  • Almost 10 years *sigh* Who doesn't remember where they were when this happened?? I remember the exact spot I was & I was driving when I heard the news break. I remember who I called 1st (Dad) I remember watching the news w/my Mom puzzled as to why people were throwing chairs out windows & then horrified when I realized that wasn't it at all. I remember hearing a constant muffled siren choir that noone could identify until later as the alarms worn by emergency personnel indicating man down.

  • godd bless the inoccent people who died

  • Wow. Everybody knows where they were at that moment.

  • Thanks for upping this, I remember seeing it sometime shortly after 9/11 and I seem to always pull it up somewhere online about once a year or so to watch it again.

  • I wasn't even close to NY but glued to the tv in the Netherlands. This video is excellent! And the music is the one that still gives me the shivers

  • A wonderful tribute. I spent one week at that site, and the lyrics say it all. God be with the victims and their loved ones.

  • @ODIN:You can't blame a whole group of people for the action of a few

It was one of the saddest days for the world. It wasn't just Americans in those buildings that day. It was also a day that showed us that we can all still come together! So many emotions go through all of us watching this, whether it makes you hurt, cry, angry we must never forget this day. "Learn from the past or we are damned to repeat it"....I knew being in the military at the time, shedding a tear, getting ready to mobilize

  • 'fuck muslims' ?

you've got a lot to learn.

    so typical.

  • bin laden will py big time for this

  • @valerier92 rofl. bin laden is most likely dead, and he had nothing to do with 9/11.

  • fuck your mamma bitch

  • fuck your mamma bitch

  • this is one of the best tribute videos i have ever seen

  • I will always find it ironic and utterly unbelievable that US citizens could look at this video and say something negative. Even if you believe the most absurd conspiracy theory, this tribute has nothing to do with the government. Show some respect.

  • anger, sadness, hatred, all combined after watching this video

  • i remember this song/video that night, something i hope none of US...or anyone...feel again

  • 2:35 to 2:45 that is a woman I work with in EMS. She is one of the strongest person I have ever met and to see her face in this video breaks my heart.

  • I too am taken by her expression of concern and determination....You are lucky to know her.

  • such a sad video, terrible that this has happend.

    beautiful song..

  • This video is by far the best one dedicated to 9/11 that I've seen so far (I've lost count, but it's a lot). I'm really speechless, my tears say more than my mouth can.

  • I feel so sad watching this, but I also feel hatred!

  • I watched the towers burn from my apartment building in Fort Greene and from the B61 bus stop near the BQE. Very numbing and felt so...void. A tragedy that should NEVER be forgotten.

  • my father was working on the south tower

  • god bless your father:)

  • i remember this video from that VERY night, it was eerie, may it never happen again

  • REMEMBER

  • Finally, I've been looking for the unedited original version that was played just a day or two after 9-11. Thank for uploading this.

  • Cmon people this is a good video leave some comments

  • this video always reminds me of the time we spent at ground zero. We came to NYC from South dakota as part of a Search and rescue team compiled of Law enforcement, EMT's and firefighters. We spent a week helpin out.

  • i love america!

  • very sad!!!!!

  • This video & song combo always made me cry, and it still does.

  • I feel they should play this video everyday. To many people have forgotten about what happen that terriable day. I my self will never forget, But sadly to many people have. or worse they are useing to the boster there own agenda.

  • I remember i saw this vid a few days after. I could not move just watch over and over. Great vid but sad at the same time. I love this song. It was written and recorded before that day which is um weird.

  • great vid

  • I remember watching this video on vh1 after the attacks and just how sad it was and still is. Whats sad now is it seems like everyone has forgotten about the whole United We Stand thing. I see at the corner of the screen on this video and think...now a days you would never see anything like this unless another tradgedy happened. I remember ppl putting flags out and praising all the fire fighters now it seems all forgotten. Just kinda sad it takes disaster to bring ppl together.

  • Dude.. If i could i'd give it six stars...

  • Now the comment shows up. Sorry about this!

  • Hey YouTube? Care to explain why my comment from yesterday isn't here? The subject is on 9/11. Not some fan video for a TV show!

Anyways, nice job. It's hard to believe it's been almost 6 years since 9/11 happened. It still feels like it happened yesterday.

  • Very nicely done. It's hard to believe it's been almost 6 years. It still feels like it happened just yesterday.

  • I was only 9 years old when this happend. It still is griffed in my memory. Good Song thanks for the upload !

  • I have lived in NYC ... and I have friends from NYC...

Here's to those that went in, when others ran away...

    Thanks

  • I was at a hockey tournament in DC in April and everyday on our way to the rink, my team passed by the pentagone. We could still see scafolding where they were making repairs. The bus driver who was driving the players also pointed out where triage had been. It was very moving, especially after what had happened af Virgina Tech.

  • the worst day in american history we still havent fully recoverd

  • this whas the sadness day

  • nice song i have searcht for years for this song 5 stars
