sorry another question. for the apr chip for 500.00 do i have to buy the exhaust system and intake right away on their site it says I have to? Or do they just put that so you will spend more money lol.

    I appreciate all your help!!!!!!!

  • Is there a ball park price as 2 how much it would cost to get my 01 jetta wolfsburg 1.8t to 200 hp? and what I should buy to do it?

    Thanks for your time!!!!

  • @AWiseFilm A 2001 Jetta WE, should have the K03S turbo. For 200 crank hp, just need a software flash, around $500 and will be the biggest bang for the buck you will ever see. Next a turbo back exhaust $900-2000 depending what you buy. For 200hp at the ground, start thinking bigger turbo and a front mount. (you can do 200whp with a front mount and race gas on a K03S, but who wants to run 101oct everyday). A K04 turbo kit starts at about 1800, for around 250hp at the crank.

  • @TheMechanicalLife At what point do you need to start thinking about changing the connecting rods though with that much power? I hear that they are rubbish and usually start to fail at around 275.
