ps3dude, you can just take the trucks off your skateboard, put the deck on a surface where it wont slide (carpet etc) and walk and jump onto it and which ever way you land will be your stance most of the time :)

it is normal that you can not do moving ollies (or shuvits and pop shuvits) immediately. just pretend you're not moving. if this doesn't work, don't panic, you'll get there if you keep practising, it costs commitment, that's all
