  • Nice song, thanks...

  • THIS IS WHAT I CALL MUSIC!!! SHE IS ONE OF THE MOST TALENTED ARTISTS EVER

  • Buon successo dell'estate 188 in italia... sempre bella!

  • Оте унайды...

  • I have to dissolve and flow down from my chair... ;)

  • for me this piece is how a time machine

  • I LOVE THIS WOMAN.. I LOVE YOU KIM!!!!!!

  • i know you rewinded the frames that are AFTER the dog-skating part ;)

  • she spends her time in the garden nowadays

  • "Close" is definitely her best album! This is nice but probably the least good song on it. Which only goes to show just how fantastic it truly is! :)

  • my love in many yaers ago in iran

    wooow

  • 80's great music, bad hair. kim is beautiful, but the 80's hair looks like pajamas.

  • @maalaea yea bad hair in this video some of this 80s hair was oright but some was naff ill agree

  • Wild with an E, Kim Wilde<3

  • the most beautiful woman ever

  • Kim Wilde was very incredibly attractive, I often wonder if people just couldnt take that a woman could be so good looking and sing, lol

  • I really liked Kim's other tracks at 1st as this one is new too me but everytime i hear that "oww darling..." it gets me right in my heart - can't stop listning to it!=)

  • I really liked Kim's other tracks at 1st as this one is new too me but everytime i hear that "oww darling..." it get me right in my heart - can't stop listning to it!=)

  • UHH DARLING..................................

  • @MrZidan262 прелесть просто

  • such a strange but enthralling song. Dramatic, with it's sixties refrain ("Hey Mr. Heartache" is not exactly modern), and brooding 80's dance pop synth. It's soulful at the same time, foreshadowing her best album, "Now and Forever". Love it and still, after 22 years, don't know exactly what to make of it.

  • @scarcastic Now and Forever is NOT her best album. Her best album is probably 'Close'. If it isn't Close it's definately something she did in the 80s.

  • @flares (I love your definitive "NOT" and then the less-sure "probably" 'Close'). So dramatic for a simple difference of opinion. Bejesus. I think "Close" is overrated. "Teases and Dares" was certainly more interesting, for one.

  • @scarcastic The reason I said NOT in capitals is because it wasn't from the 80s. The reason I said 'probably' in lowercase is because she released quite a few albums in the 80s. You say Close is overreated but think of all the great hits on there like You Came, Never trust a stranger, Four letter word, Hey M.H., etc. These records will be remembered for years to come. Her earlier stuff like Child come away, The Touch, House of salome, Water on glass etc is also great.

  • @flares you're just not paying attention. I never said "Now & Forever" was from the eighties. I said the track foreshadows that white soul sound. But, you know that...that's why you wrote "something she did in the 80s", unlike N&F. Maybe you just like to yak, yak, yak. Dunno. Glad you like Kim, tho.

  • @scarcastic Listen, I didn't say that you said N&F was from the 80s. I said that N&F wasn't her best album because it WASN'T from the 80s. To put it simply, all the best records she ever did were from the 80s. NOTHING can beat her early new wave type records like Water On Glass, Cambodia, Chequered Love etc followed by her big power pop hits like Rage To Love, You Keep Me hanging On, You Came, Another Step, Never Trust A Stranger. Nothing she did in the 90s compares to these songs.

  • @flares Actually, track for track I would have to agree with you - now that you've clarified - that they are stronger singles. But, I think the strongest album in total is "Now & Forever". Love or hate the sound, I think she could've sold half the albums tracks to the likes of Mariah Carey(90s Mariah) for hits. And vocally, it is, for me, without a doubt her best work. It has a cohesive quality her other albums lack. Dat's all.

  • @scarcastic To be honest the sound of someone's voice is not the main thing that I look for in a song. I've always been far more interested in the sound and most importantly the melody of the record. For eg. Take a record like Cambodia. Great synthesizers with a catchy melody. It wouldn't matter whether it was Kim Wilde, Debbie Harry or Kate Bush singing it. If the arrangement and sound were EXACTLY the same as KW's version I'd like it just as much. Didn't get songs as good as that in the 90s.

  • @flares uh, wow. In this whole thread, that was the only time I mentioned her vocals...and not until after I agreed the 80s singles were stronger. You just want to disagree; win "biggest fan" or something. You should just type things into your computer, then read them back to yourself, out loud. I think you'd enjoy that more. I know I would. ciao!

  • @scarcastic COCK

  • @eddietheturdburglar hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhhahahhaaa

  • I love her !!!

  • I love Kim!

  • the most beautiful woman in the world

  • dose any one know a music video with little angels sitting on a piano from the 90s can't remember its name

  • @SoundOfZtruth I think you mean Lullaby (Goodnight, My Angel) by Billy Joel.

  • @thehuffmeister1 thanx for ur reply unfortunately its not the song and the singer is a female not a male .. thanx any way

  • This song is incredibly wonderful, wonderful Fly me to the beautiful days of childhood, this art will not be repeated again, I remember the teachers punished because I hear Kim Wilde during a lesson, good days

  • Mi mancano questi video stupendi, proprio per la loro semplicità ed il loro romanticismo.. E mi manca anche la speldida musica anni 80'! Good time!

  • @Soulhearth75

    More ´80´s music at my channel...Take a look!111

    Thanks...Gracia

  • i am from 1970,well that`s my music.

  • @Jrabc12

If you dig harder, as I did, you'll find a DVD release with the following songs: Kids in America, Chequered Love, Cambodia, View From a Bridge, You Keep Me Hangin' On, Another Step (Closer to You), You Came, Never Trust A Stranger, Four Letter Word, Love is Holy, If I Can't Have You, Say You Really Want Me, Schoolgirl, Million Miles Away, Born To Be Wild.

  • i always loved this song, remember the 12" was also pretty good...greats beats!

  • She's Soo Fine!!!!~!

  • i wish MCA (Universal) will put together Kim Wilde complete "Singles Collection DVD" with Great videos like Who do you think you are, Million Miles Away, If i can't have u, Breakin away, Shame, In My life etc...she was the Queen of the videos without DVD release???

  • Je l'ai sur l'album Closed qui est magnifique avec You Came

  • Will why no dvd with all videos publish? kim is one of the best artists of the 80s.

I love the 12" Version of this Track. Perfect Pop Music. Thx Kim

  • This was the first video Kim seriously gave acting a try.

  • Oh no, baby, baby, baby, baby, bab-ay, BAB-ay!!!!

  • This is my ALL TIME favorite Kim Wilde song, it was **seriously** underrated, it should have been more promoted, and I think it would have been more a lot more successful on the music charts!!!!

  • it sounds like michel jackson in the back round, around 2:28

  • che brividoooooooooooo!!!!

  • Kim Wilde's best song ever! I really loved the 12" version!

  • Oh I know, it's my favorite Kim Wilde song too, the 12" version came on the 1988 CD, I love both versions too!!!! :D

  • I don't agree with you at all. Since early nineties, basically since her Close album, her musical direction was going more like dance and commercial! And her star was fallin'.

She was doing much better in the eighties! Her looks as well. Okay, she wasn't that sexy in this period but she was original as hell. Can't say that of her Mr. Heartache period and after......unfortunately. She started to make cheap music and playing da sexbomb :-(

  • awesome

  • Dove sono finiti questi suoni?

  • Brava ! Stupenda! Ballissimo video !

  • great track bought this on 12" when it first came out...

  • yes sir! i remember i sam them in Hamburg! great times will never end!

  • This song will FOREVER remind of summer 1988, when Kim Wilde toured Europe supporting Michael Jackson in his Bad World Tour. I remember standing in the front row i Gothenburg hearing Kim Wilde and waiting for Michael.

    Brilliant song! I love it!

  • Yeah, i don't know why she has to be so good.

  • i love this song:-))))

  • Kim is perfect!

  • Yes, the song was so underrated, that when I hear Junior was backing vocals;

I thought the reference was about the spanish singer Junior-with the same name. It's just incredible how this wonderful song is yet a mistery for many in america.

  • I bet no more than 10 people on the world can

make this such an excellent music. Yeah, as I see my fingers.

  • Comment removed

  • Anyway Kim Wilde Hellraiser is really something to see.

  • It has a very unique electronic disco sound. It could be recorded with more lyrics; it is beautiful.

  • OMG - it's Jackie's husband from FOOTBALLERS WIVES!!!! It's Roger Webb.

  • Very underrated, unique song - it's still incredibly catchy and cool, all those years later!

    rock ON Kim :)

  • A little cray for posting twice in a row, when

Kim Wilde sings listen To Me, Listen To Me (

yes, her voice is incredibly melodious and

smooth like the streamline of a light. Yes, it's so.)

  • With roughness, maybe the blue butterfly should have been crashed, maybe it should.

    i guess for tomorrow....

  • bye bye mister heartache....

  • when i hear "darling"uuu darlig that song drive my ...... oh pretty Kim . look at sopot poland 2008 very nice .Kim come back to Poland please

  • one of her best songs ever..

  • I think it's criminal that Kim never did any promotion over here in the U.S. She had a #1 hit in 1987 with "You Keep Me Hangin' On" and did absolutely nothing! No touring (that I'm aware of) or anything. She toured the next year with Michael Jackson but we never hear anything of her over here in the states. This song is one of her more R&B infused songs I think. Nonetheless I love you Kim!

  • I agree that this is very much soulful, I knew that from day one! It should have been shipped to US Urban radio. What's even better is that I can hear Junior singing back up during the bridge of the song, another underrated UK Soul singer.

  • I was born on the 90's but my mom said that she was very popular in Sweden and were on many top lists on the 80's here in Sweden but she is not popular any more with her new songs or the oldies. :(

    I think she rock's!

    Greetings from Sweden.

  • i like this song she.s make me remeber my girl friend in my opinion you must see ( JLM BAND LENA 6335 )LENA i miss you

    ziad

  • I bought this album in 1988, and I remember it had great tracks on it, every song was good. You Came, and 4 letter word , were also there.

  • a nice song, but,I wonder why it only reached no 27 back in 1988 in the U.k

  • she was reaally known here in portugal this is one of my favourite songs

  • A goddess , one to lose my mind forever. I will always love you Kim.

  • no you just dont won't to piss her off!!

  • Isn't that Marcus Tandy from Elorado in the video!!!???

  • Certainly is... a bit of a looker here isn't he?

Kim love get your roots done please ;-)

  • His name was Jesse Birdsall, and he was in that crap spy series with Craig MacLachlan (Henery Ramsay in Neighbours) and it was called Bugs, absolute shite

  • this that in my opinion that makes her sexyer

  • she was very beautiful in this video, great song!

  • Isn't 'Mr Heartache' in the vid the same guy who played Marcus Tandy in Eldorado?

  • Yes it is. He's also been in "The Bill", and that flopped drama series "Sunburn" which starred Michelle Collins who couldn't even sing the theme tune. In fact I don't think she was cut out to be a popstar. She should stick to acting in my opinion.

  • Super!!! A u nas w radio puszczaja teraz takie badziewie!

  • great

makes me feel 18 years younger

  • Best fox in thev U.K.

  • wasn't there another version with more Junior in it??

  • you're thinking of Another Step :)

  • no not another step This one. Mr Heartache

  • Kim I love You More than My Life !!!!!

  • i'm portuguse and i found this kim's look very glamourous and the video and the music, everything and deliciouly tragic...i don't know why kim in some time of her carrer her look remind me of miss m monroe look...

  • Kim - You are fantastic!

  • kim i love you thanks from poland

  • viva KIM WILDE!brawo!!!

  • I love this song. Rock on.

  • CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm not a fan of this era in her career. It sounds too unoriginal for her. As always though, she has a great voice and it would be the only reason why I'd listen to this song.

  • I disagree about unoriginal - in fact, I find songs like this one very distinctive of Kim's style and I can't think of any other song that sounds like this one - having said that, it's not my fave of hers, and one of the weakest on the Closer album, Another Step, for one, was catchier.

  • great songs !!!

  • The vocalist you can hear at 02:30 is Junior - remember him? On the album version he sings a few lines at the end of the song, but this was obviously edited out for the single (to make it performable in his absence). He also appeared on another Kim Wilde song, "Another Step", a couple of years earlier.

  • Kim is perfect!

  • Hey, darling...do you know what you're looking for??? I like this song and remember it was a huge hit back in 80's. Kim was perfect in this video and it's one of my favourite pop songs...good job Kim. Thanks a lot.

  • The production is dated, but the spine of the song is stellar, and this could be a hit, today, with the right artist and the right producer. Love it.

  • No Hit in Germany - but soooo great! The whole Album was brilliant!

  • Great song!!

  • She is brilliant, isn't she? I love this song.

  • This is one of my best love songs by Kim and the words and video are great and i for 1 was in love at this time and for me it was and still is a very deep touching track! thnx to the person who let this site have this video as i for 1 will be thinking of the past as i play this over and over! :-)

  • one of your best LOVE songs or should you say "NO-LOVE" songs? Anyway, I do think it's a great song.

  • cool.

  • Great song.

Kim's not very good at acting

  • Awesome song. I'm addicted to it.

  • The actor in this video made a movie with Helena Boham Carter, the same year this video was made. Whats his name?

  • Actor is Jesse Birdsall (not sure of spelling) he was in UK drama series BUGS and Uk flop soap 'Elderado'.

  • When her greatest hits album came out in 93, this great song was not included, why!???, it s one of her best, but it wasnt a hit in America. You came, from the same album was a big hit in Latin America.

  • Love Love this song! Thanks For Posting!

  • Love this song, video is cool too.
