The beta seems not nearly as believable as the final product. 9000 km/h? At that speed you wouldn't even see the cars.

For everyone who is wondering why it looks better the beta had 30 fps while the finished product has 60 fps which takes up more memory so they had to scale down the graphics

All the detail and movements(and some sound quality) had to be sacrificed to keep the game at 60FPs. Still, I'm still glad I've got my 64 catridge. :)

The cars in the Beta seemed to be more detailed, but I guess the lowered the poly's to get it to run at 60FPS,

I noticed a lot of big differences.
First, it's about the same speed as F-Zero for SNES, which is very slow in comparison to the final result.
Second, the graphics are better, but the frame rate is slower. Nintendo had to sacrifice the graphics to keep it at 60 fps for the final product.
Third, the logo.
Fourth, the view angles are a lot like F-Zero for the SNES. I guess they tried to make it like the first F-Zero, but then decided otherwise. That was a wise choice on their part! :P

The model of car seems a little more detailed. This video is interesting. (and lol, at the 5th seconde there is 2 blue falcon car :p)

Does anyone know anything/got any of these CDs: "F-zero X Original Soundtrack" and/or "F-zero X Guitar Arrange Edition"? (They're sold out EVERYWHERE!) I just LOVE the music (think it is the best in world, actually), and if you can help in ANY way, I would be VERY glad! I'M DESPERATE!!!

I remember this video (or at least screenshots from it).
In contrast with PiccoloCube, I think the game looks better in this demo than it does in the final released version.
Maybe they decided it was more important to have 30 machines on screen and 60 constant frames than to mantain these looks.
