Yes its the 3rd and final movement. But its title is NOT "Moonlight Sonata," because its actually "Quasi una fantasia." That's the REAL name that Beethoven gave this piece and dedicated it to Countess Julie Guicciardi who was his pupil and was in love with. Over 30 years later, some moron gave that other name to the first movement because he thought it reminded him of the moonlight shining on Lake Lucerne.

Well, I quite enjoy both versions of this. I've always believed that Beethoven's music is in many ways similar to metal music anyway.....

I wanted to preserve as much of the original Beethoven as possible to show that he wrote amazingly futuristic music that could be adapted to more modern instruments. I did add a few extra notes, mostly prolonged single notes that emphasize certain transitions, and of course the long "howl" at the beginning to signify his sudden "transformation" into a werewolf in the third movement of this piece. My CD also has the first two movements and the long version of the third movement. ---Dr Rick

@MrJuliusx10: A wind controller is a saxaphone hooked up to a synthesizer so it can sound like any instrument. I agree that to be heavy metal it would need much more bass and drums, but this is really a hybrid of that with very old classical music. There is another version of this on you-tube with drums and it sounds terrible!
