@Cbhan2108 well, is normal, almost all kids have the whistle register when they cry or shout but as we grow older, few women keep it and almost all men lose it because of hormones. Is normal, overuse can also take away that ability if u did it everyday it may have been the reason. mariah takes a lot of rest before singing.

Example Mado Robin, a Coloratura Soprano goes up to B6, and her voice was fine for years, in opera it is known to use this register and it is natural.

Mariah does her high notes at the appropriate time in an appropriate amount and she can do these super high notes both soft and loud (breathy and full) + Vibrato while Georgia, everytime she does it, it came out so loud with no vibrato.
