I'd love a black president, IF he was qualified and competent.. It's clear that Obama is not a qualified president, especially since he only had one four year term as an Illinois senator. Martin Luther King's real dream was for society to be color blind. Barack Obama had a clear advantage because of his black skin, and he exploited the collective guilt of this country in order for him to become a candidate and ultimately win the election. Society was certainly not color blind regarding Obama.

Do The Right Thing. If you didn't see it, it is the definitive movie on racism in NYC in the 70s and 80s. Spike embellishes slightly, but it is speaks truth, and to the anger and how it is acted out in some circles. Just for the record, I am of italian descent and from Staten Island, most of which are racist morons. Danny Aiello's best performance ever.
