Funny that the supporters are complaining that these individuals are being held against their will, but at the same time, they were caught in the act of commiting a crime. Just because the bomb didn't go off doesn't mean that they didn't had evil intentions....what the hell was the reason for them with a bomb for then. Those people should not have been put in custody in the first place. My understanding is that they are not P.O.W's, and they have not been tried in court, so... innocent until proven guilty.

They have not been tried as yet, but that does not mean they do not deserve to be separated from society. These are war criminals, terrorists who were caught in the commission of terrorist acts. But I am all about national security and personal so I do not envision them rejoining any populace for decades to come. Many of the detainees at Gitmo who have been released went right back to what they were doing. This is documented fact. I think Gitmo needs to close ONLY if we can put these people on trial and make other arrangements. I realize not everybody agrees with me. ALL opinions are needed here.

They found him cowering in the rubble of the building, blinded by grenade shrapnel and twice shot in the chest...
The boy was sent to Gitmo to rot and be tortured without trial. based on allegedly throwing a grenade.
