Every time I hear Rimi sing Tinsagu nu Hana,... brings tears. I think of my Dad's uncle Hoso Inafuku of Haneji who my Dad said was a singer there during the early 1920s when my Dad was a 10 year old boy... and who would put my Dad to sleep when he sang with his shamisen after dinner at home. I try to imagine uncle Hoso having as sweet a voice in a man's way,... as Rimi's, singing Tinsagu nu Hana.......
