I am a Chef Instructor in Memphis, currently teaching American Regional / Healthy Life Styles (taking american regional dishes and teaching how to make them healthy) as well as teaching nutrition. In my personal life, i have gone from 300 lbs to down to 250 lbs in a year, losing 80 lbs of fat and gaining 30 lbs of muscle. always looking for great ideas to motivate my students. talked about diabetes tonight and they were all shocked. keep up the great work.

  • yes maybe but you need alot of calories when bodybuilding look it up if you dont believe me. Some people take in 3500-4000 calories a day!

  • Actually it matters not so much as how many calories as to what stage of competition they are in. If they are bulking up, yes, 3000 calories. In the getting ripped stage, more like 1500 calories. Look up traditional bodybuilding diets for competition. And calories never =muscle. A more accurate statement would be protein=muscle. It's closer to right.

    The only eggs you shouldn't do this with are farm-fresh.

  • Good video, but alcohol is actually good for you. That is of course if one can limit themselves to 2 a day (NO MORE). It could be anything like a shot of jack, 2 bottles of beer, or red wine (good for the heart). Alcohol is loaded with antioxidants that keep the doctors away!

  • when you get low fat cottage cheese companies add extra sugar to compensate for the flavor loss, u contradict yourself later as well by sayin u dont get fat free..generally cottage cheese only has like 5g of fat per serving anyways a perfectly fine amount and rather low

  • Beans and raw eggs (high in protein) you need the eggs cause beans is incomplete protein useless by itself!! you need a complete protein like eggs or meats but i guess you cant eat meat so go for eggs and beans!

  • beans, milk, soy and there is a grain called quinoa which is considered complete protein.

  • michelob ultra i know should be good as far as beer goes.....umm.....your best bet might be some golden grain....i bet its not good for you but it should do the job without a lot of calories.....i think theres this vodka called "3" thats carb free.....just stay away from the fruity drinks and stuff with alot of sugar.
